I conducted an experiment - I created a text file called TEST, wrote "TEST1" in the text, saved it on the desktop. Then I mounted the NTFS volume, and copied the text file TEST, opened this file, there was the inscription "TEST1", added the inscription "TEST2" and saved the file. With the subsequent opening of this file I see two inscriptions - "TEST1" and "TEST2". In general, I do not have such a problem as you. In CSR, I only disable ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_NVRAM\ncsr-active-config (40000000), there are reasons for this, but usually SIP is enabled for me. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/137/#findComment-2839655 Share on other sites
Anto65
I don't understand the need to write to the System partition i.e. Windows C drive I always create a Windows C System partition ( Ntfs ) if the disk is large enough , the remaining in Exfat for the data 🤷♂️ ... maybe it's time to create a separate discussion ? Thebes Knossos
Thanks sergey for your test. When I modify directly a text file (here an .rtf one) I get first a proposal to unlock it. After click to unlock (Déverrouiiler in French), i says it can't because volume is read only. Zevgoli
I downloaded and tried to install OCLP-mod 3.0 from GitHub. It did seem to do something but upon reboot things were the same. If I restart it again, it normally loads into macOS Tahoe (currently Beta 7). Any tips? Tks! EDIT: This happens very rarely. Most of the time it goes in normally.
