Just no use Recovery mode to run installer, I recommend you use off-line installer on partition or USB. Back-up your data. EFI CLOVER 5162 TAHOE B2 NOOTRX - NAICLUB.zip 15.57 MB · 21 downloads Don't try use with another partition with Opencore inside. Just remove all EFI folder and use USB formatted in Fat32, for exemple. F11 on start you empty Nvram. The nootRX gives me a lot of lag, both in Tahoe and Sequoia. It would freeze my desktop for up to 20 seconds. I had to remove the 6750 and put the old 6600xt back in. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/81/#findComment-2835773 Share on other sites

However, there is another aspect to consider. I am of the opinion that in the Beta 3 version, I restore the missing kext (AppleHDA), because if they intended to remove it permanently, Apple would not have put it in the first beta. Trusting in what I think, Apple will surely put it back, also because there is the issue that for the Intel Macs they will still give the last support with this Tahoe... Kexts have been removed permanently in later betas before. Nvidia Kepler drivers for example were removed in beta 7 of Monterey if I remember right. I would guess it's pretty likely to be permanently gone unfortunately. 3 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/81/#findComment-2835775 Share on other sites

It doesn't have to be this way, even if there was a precedent. Let's remember that these are still the first betes, also considering that they have to make the public beta available.. Let's wait for the next betes to be released and then the final one. If in the case (I hope not!!) that things remain this way, surely there was time for developers to make available more simplified and suitable methods than the current ones to avoid compromising the integrity of the system by injecting the missing Kext. webipsum
Hi. Please, has anyone had this kind of problem? Position of items (in this case, the context menu) in normal situations. Example: as soon as you log into macOS Tahoe: Position of items after the screen is turned off due to inactivity and then turned on: Any guidance? Note 1: This also happens with windows that were previously positioned correctly. Note 2: My setup is described below in the signature. MorenoAv
Hi guys good night to all, No matter how much I tried to install macOS Tahoe with my RX 570, using the EFI made by @eSaF , it wouldn't install, until I decided to use an EFI from @Max.1974 that got to the last reboot and stopped, I replaced this EFI with one from @Ludox and I was able to complete the installation of macOS Tahoe. However, what brings me here today is that my RX 570 still doesn't work and as soon as I change the BIOS settings and connect the cable to my RX 570 it starts with a black screen. I ask for help to solve this problem. Thank you Below is The EFI that @eSaF made. deeveedee
@strangeron Not sure of the exact problem with the limited details provided, but did you completely remove the root patches? Remember that OCLP-Mod is rooting MacOS. In order to restore pre-rooted operation, you need to revert root patches. See this post for how to revert root patches in recovery mode. The important steps in recovery mode are: mount -uw /Volumes/[Your Tahoe Volume] bless --mount /Volumes/[Your Tahoe Volume] --bootefi --last-sealed-snapshot 2 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/81/#findComment-2835804 Share on other sites
