I think something is not working properly with RestrictEvents/System Updates. The last 2 systems I updated, applying incremental updates failed and afterwards the full installer was downloaded automatically. While this is normal for systems patched by OCLP, my systems do not require root patches, so the seals of the volumes were not broken. 🤔

Hello, let me ask you, in this case the version of RestricEvents that I am using is 80 kb compiled on my computer with Xcode 16 beta 5. And there more another version, that have  59 kb. Which one do you use?

RestrictEvents-1.1.4-RELEASE 59KB XCODE16.zip RestrictEvents 80KB XCODE16.kext.zip

I have been tested with success compiled with Xcode 15 in Sonoma 14.5

71 kb   RestrictEvents 71 kb XCODE15 Sonoma 14.5.kext.zip

Hello my friend, so far everyone has given up on the project. at least from the intel project, which was promising. A proposal for another better project remained and the Chinese developer doesn't even want to take it back. It's a shame, thousands of users would like to use Intel Wi-Fi without OCLP, like me for example.

It appears that some of the OCLP patching is "hidden" during development.  Can't say I blame the devs.

EDIT: I should note that I haven't reviewed the code yet to confirm that this is actually hidden patching.  If my guess is wrong and someone has inspected the code to determine the purpose of this "access to internal resources," I'd be curious to know.  Thank you.

Yes it doesn't work on Airport Sequoia but TP-Link TL-WN725N still works and I think thanks to @chris1111

Scores seem a little low to me, but I don't usually run benchmarks, iStat menus didn't really show my CPU being used much.
Geekbench 6
MacPro7,1 - Geekbench - CPU

MacPro7,1 - Geekbench - OpenCL

MacPro7,1 - Geekbench - Metal

Windows
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. X570 AORUS PRO WIFI - Geekbench - CPU

14th gen is a beast. I'm using many i3 with very low cost builds. This is amazing hardware.

After struggling with the Sequoia beta I have managed to at least upgrade to Sonoma which is progress :) And my son told me this morning that there have been complaints about the new annoying permission policy in Sequoia. Like is described in this article https://tidbits.com/2024/08/12/macos-15-sequoias-excessive-permissions-prompts-will-hurt-security/

Has this also been your experience with the beta so far?

I kindly ask if any of you have macOSDeveloperBetaAccessUtility.dmg for Sequoia can you share it, thanks

As far as I know - she doesn't necessarily register her account here - Developer .  And you can use it.

@Ludox

I don't have the beta utility.

@ANTIKO

I can't find the beta utility in the beta software site, maybe it has been retired.

@eSaF

Ludox wants to "re-enable" the beta feature in Software Update, not working for him in Sequoia.
