@fuzzylogic

You download a file named InstallAssistant.pkg, right? Double clic >> it says that needs 40,8 MB of space to install >> this is the space needed for this task (act on InstallAssistant.pkg to get Install macOS Sonoma.app) >> Install macOS Sonoma.app appears in the Applications folder with its right size.

If it is not the case for you, something is wrong in the process.

OCLP keeps saying "Unsupported OS" when trying to patch Nvidia with 0.6.9 sonoma 14.0 release version (version made Sept26). is there any workaround or i am downloading the wrong version.

Thank you for your time

You are using the wrong version of OCLP I suspect, the one you're using is for real Mac machines.

On the OCLP GitHub page scroll down to this section (as shown) and download and use the 'Nightly Build' version.

Then go through the correct steps again.

OCLP is JUST for real Mac. Hackintosh machines are using it thanks to OCLP devs who threw us a hand.

You should use OCLP from sonoma-development branch.

Latest nightly build of OCLP 0.6.9 successfully patched Sonoma 14.0_23A344 to enable legacy Atheros wireless and non metal (AMD TeraScale 2) graphics acceleration for my ancient non UEFI desktop GA-P55A-UD3/i5 750/ATI HD5770...

Hello everybody!

I missed Sonoma's Beta phase, I didn't do any testing.

So now, when trying to install Sonoma using my EFI, (Latest OpenCore and Kexts), from my macOS Ventura, I'm having constant reboots right after the screen below... does anyone know what it could be?

CleanShot 2023-09-29 at 20.43.44.png

I managed to solve my problem after some testing, and what worked was:

Kext Order: Lilu, VirtualSMC, WhateverGreen
SecureBootModel: Disabled (was Default)

But this is only necessary for the installation process, after that, my "original" macOS Ventura EFI works for the Sonoma

Kext Order: Lilu, NVMeFix, RadeonSensor
SecureBootModel: Default

Hope it can help someone else

Successfully installed from Ventura HDD ! If I try to install it from USB doesn't see the installation partition for some reason.

Hardware -> MB: ASUS Z790 ROG STRIX F GAMING WiFi  / CPU: Intel Core i7-13700 / RAM: DDR5 Corsair 64Gb ( 6000MHz ) / VGA: ASUS RX6900XT / HDD: WD SN850X 1Tb

Working everything except: AQUANTIA ( AQC113C ) 10Gb card / Build-In Wifi + Bluetooth

EFI is attached below.

IMPORTANT: I've noticed that at some point ( few minutes/hours later or few gigs of Apps and Data downloaded ) the system start to Kernel Panics ( check the screenshot above ). No solution so far. If anyone can suggest something - I have everything ready and I can test it.

The Kernel Panic is related to com.apple.security.sandbox -> com.apple.driver.AppleMobileFileIntegrity + com.apple.iokit.IOStorageFamily + com.apple.kext.AppleMatch

I have tried the amfi=0x80 solution - no difference at all.

Maybe someone knows how to fix it in Sonoma so that it shows the correct 24-hour time on the board during start-up and not 12-hour time as it is happening now.
For example, if I turn on the mac mini in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m., it shows 02:00 a.m., even though the time is correctly set to 24 hours in the settings.

Hi guys.

After installing Sonoma 14.0 my two internal Intel I210 nic:s just get self assigned ip:s. AppleIGB.kext. fix the problem but according to Dortanias  guide the Intel I210 (pci8086,1533 = Intel I210) should be recognised as a native internet controller in macOS. Has Apple dropped support for this nic in Sonoma?

Any ideas?

what kext did you use

Got it @Max.1974

Hi my friend!

I compile with Xcode only my IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext,  and using Airportltlwm.kext and IntelBTPatcher.kext and need BlueToolFixup.kext too.

Simple without boot-args. But for Sonoma need use this

Airportltlwm.kext
