I was able to mount and open!

But not able to write to the file as it is locked.   how to unlock?

In Users & Groups>Advanced Options set to Admin for Group does this cause no login?

I see Apri Con TextMate as the use here does it override the permissions at least needs to be set in Security Tab

You have disabled first  Sip from recovery mode terminal

csrutil disable

it is disabled. however I do not get the full status description as it once did.

the list of what's disabled and enabled.

it now comes back with: sip disabled

and I still cannot write to any files, can make duplicates and rename them but not able to save.

Ok I forgot to apply permissions to the root folder CoreServices. Now I have write access.

Have to make finer changes to the Icons > icns and in config.plist to reflect the changes for this Laptop :)

On the other PC Desktop I have right now only Windows 11 Pro and Windows 10 Pro active, Windows Insider 11 offline. No MacOS on it.
Thus changing the label names might be a stretch and a pinch to do?  I haven't found a way yet.

You guys are quite the best! Thank you always! always appreciated! :) hands up and all!!

Some tools to simplify mounting volumes on MacOS

ESP Mounter Pro v1.9.1 it can not only mount EFI, but all volumes with just a click--no Terminal needed.

Sits in the Menu Bar above

I want some rainbow colors for text on icons.  White and Black is mundane.  Plus need larger fonts so one can read the label, this is not a pepsi can with 6 size font or is it?

So we shall embark on the color spectrum and then find a way to use larger font faces.

Background colors affect the font color.  If you like to stare at white font colors 00000000 <- 8 0's

peace out

Hi @miliuco Are you doing good 😃

What do you think of this one? I don't really have a name, do you have a name to suggest Flavours-???

really that is a bust but for those that want color in Graphical Boot Menu

In NVRAM the first folder for background color insert 8 F's.  this changes the font color from white to black.

I assume since I have not tried yet, that it maybe that by changing the background color to another color besides white or black perhaps blue, purple, magenta the font color may change to other than black or white.
