I could be wrong but it sounds like your ssd might be installed in legacy mode, you can test this out by enabling CSM in the bios.

if that is the case then you need to change it because don’t want your ssd in that mode.

I don't know if I have ssd (I have nvme m.2) in legacy mode, but I don't think. I format nvme in apfs then install Mojave with Olarila image. Anyway I enable CSM but OpenCore boot loader don't load.

you may have trouble running Mojave with my OpenCore EFI, they are made for Catalina but with that in mind that has nothing to do with your problem.
if you Installed with CSM enabled then there’s a good chance you did just that concerning legacy mode.

theres no other reason for it not to show up using my EFI unless you drive isn’t selected as your main drive in the bios.

thats it , if it’s not A it’s B and if it’s not B then I have no idea what you have done I’m afraid.

Strange, when I installed Mojave (before update bios and with bios settings default) I put EFI OC folder of Olarila forum on EFI and show up. Now I tried to replace your EFI with EFI taken from Olarila and not show up at boot, both with default bios settings and with your bios settings. Very strange

start again bro and install from the top but this time have your bios settings correctly setup first and if your using my OC EFI its made to run with a unlocked MSR, check the notes on page one for all the info.

Dear Audiogod,

I would like to express my gratitude for your work in reality or hackintosh dream for many.  Thank you very much brother!

I am new to the hackintosh world, I made all the bios options, I did the installation and I am using your EFI folder.

However, I am having the following problems:

1- very low geekbrench score compares to your score on the first page of this topic

2- When putting the monitor to sleep, after a while or system comes off the sleep and returns to the work area

3 - my system is connected to a 4K monitor, however, YouTube does not have a 4K resolution when playing videos recorded in this format

I am using the latest version of Catalina with the latest version of Clover with its EFI folder with the iMacpro1,1 profile.  Do not unlock the MSR, as my card is a Pro Wi-Fi version and its file available on the first page does not work.

My processor is the i9-9900KF and despite not having the integrated gpu, it is running well with the iMacpro1,1, despite the above problems.  Try changing to Macpro1,1 with your efi folder, but the system will not start.

  Detailed my hardware:

  Processor: Intel i9-9900KF
  Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro-Wifi
  Aio: Corsair H115i Pro connected to HS11 - F_USB1
  GPU: Aorus RX 5700 XT
Memory: Crucial Ballistix LT 3200 Mhz 64 GB DDR4
  Source: Corsair HX750i
  SSD1: Samsung 970 Evo 1TB (macOS)
  SSD2: Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512 GB (Windows 10)

I thank you for your kindness and attention always!

1, your probably using geekbench 5 right? And if so it scores different to geekbench 4 (what I used at the time) so your score is probably correct plus also factor in that my system is heavily overclocked.

2. your Corsair H115i is the cause is the system waking up so all you need to do is disconnect the  internal usb connection to the AIO as MacOS doesn’t understand it and has no use for it and the only time it’s needed is when you want to use icue to make changes to it’s settings or It’s colour scheme.

3. Use Chrome or anything other then Safari if you want to view 4K YouTube videos, this is a common safari problem on real Mac too.

4. Smbios iMacpro1,1 is the only correct smbios to be using with a 9900kf using clover. (If I wrote macpro1,1 in my guide anywhere it’s a typo so ignore that..lol)

Sorry but I'm thinking one thing. I have aorus z390 pro WiFi and the last bios version is F12c not F12d how in motherboard no WiFi model.
Could there be problems?

Now you see that’s a no no as F11 and my dsdt are incorrect. If your using bios F11 then you should be using an older dsdt of mine to match it. Don’t do that whatever you do. Ops

Totally correct boss! I just stated that the wifi version works great (with the proper combination of bios-efi that is).. my bad!

And can I follow "CFG Unlock (MSR) F12d BIOS Profile" also in my F12c bios?

You will need to unlock the MSR yourself if you want that I’m afraid but it’s very very simple to do. :)

Google it buddy.

OR even just leave your MSR Locked, that’s fine too.

So it's better use iMac pro 1.1? I left smbios 19.1

No 19,1 is the correct smbios to use but 1,1 is a very good alternative if you don’t like having the igpu enabled and don’t care about sidecar.

Are you using Mojave? Because before reinstall all I want try different solution. I tried to delete EFI OC folder and put EFI Clover folder (in my efi there is also Microsoft folder because in the second nvme I have windows 10). But not even like this Clover bootloader show up at boot.

Why is your windows EFI in your macOS boot partition?

have you got windows on a separate disk or sharing on the same drive?

use your instal usb thumb drive to test any EFI you want to use on your system first so you can safely test it’s working right before you make it permanent.

Hi @AudioGod,

I'm impressed by the competence level here ! I'm a newbie in the hackintosh world and I have a similar configuration for my new workstation.

I 'm considering to i-have a dual boot with Windows 10 and Catalina.

For the moment, I haven't all the stuff (wifi / bt card is missing) so I will start to install Windows. Then I will install Catalina.

I will follow the @glasgood's guide applied to the new version of Catalina (just out). The main difference with my configuration is the GPU which is a old R9 280. I'm wondering what kind of EFI should I use:

Quote

Clover EFI Update - 26/03/2020 - Use with Bios revision F12d Only or Replace with the older F11 DSDT if you don't want to update the bios

Clover Z390 Pro Vega Navi EFI 260320.zip - Vega, Navi (5700, 5700XT), Radeon VII DSDT EFI

Clover Z390 Pro Polaris EFI 260320.zip - R5XX Polaris DSDT EFI

I'm also considering to switch in a while to the RX 5700 (maybe XT) GPU... Should I anticipate this switch and use the Vega EFI or shoud I use the Polaris one and change it to the Vega EFI config when installing the new gpu ?

Many thanks for all the great job here ! Hats off !

I had the same problem and had to reinstall Windows with my M.2 removed. I was too lazy to remove my Mac M.2 SSD, because it would involve removing my GPU, M.2 heat shield, and mounting screws. The Windows installer doesn't seem to care if the boot manager is on a different drive as the OS. There doesn't seem to be a option to disable the M.2 slot in BIOS like you can do with the SATA ports.

Thanks for the kind words buddy and I hope your keeping safe and well.

Use the Navi EFI, that work fine with the R9 280 and lines you up all ready for when you get your 5700XT and use my guides bios settings and tips as they are bang up to date and also use glasgoods guide on how to do it all or just come on here and ask any of us as we all have nothing better to do now we’re all locked in our cages at home... much time on my hands I have :hysterical:

I don't know why is in the same EFI. I installed Mojave first, then windows in the separate disk but I think windows had share Efi Mac folder.

I put EFI OC folder in the other pendrive for try, and I can see at boot, so I boot Mac disk but stay at Apple logo

I recommend you make sure the drive you are installing Win10 on be the only one attached (including any M.2 drives). Windows installer can install the Boot Manager on a separate drive from the OS. If it ends up on the drive you install Catalina, Win10 will be dependent on its presence. Clover will boot just fine either way.

The OC EFI is setup for a unlocked MSR so if yours is locked then take a look at the tips on page one on how to run OC with a locked MSR. It’s very easy to change :)

Ok in this way Mac boot but same usb port doesn't work. Anyway I tried to put EFI OC folder with the MSR tips in Mac disk, but doesn't show up at boot.
Ok I have to understand, I don't know maybe it's better reinstall Mac (and maybe Catalina is better? I think that Mojave is more stable) and reinstall windows disconnecting before nvme with Mac.
And before doing all this, set bios how in the first page
