If that's the case for you then move your Fenvi or whatever PCI card you have on the most bottom PCI slot. @WizeMan it’s written into my DNA to take the mick now and again and sometimes I just canny help myself. Would you prefer me to be more like the lovely people over at the angry thread? I can do this too if you prefer but I don’t recommend it. @neramirez In all seriousness, only use the last two slots on your board for the combo card and one of them should work right for you. A choppy Mouse is usually a result of lane sharing via the slot your using. I've been at it for around two hours and just cannot get it even after reading the sparse posts around and the OC PDF. I am hoping some kind person will post (minus personal data) their EFI folder or config.plist for me to see where I am going wrong. This will not only set you up properly it will fix sleep too. On 5/4/2020 at 1:56 PM, Quiggycn said: I found the solution for IGPU Only mode. It is a common issue with OS X 10.15.4. The following allows the usage of your EFI for IGPU only: - Get the normal EFI Download from 1st post. - Adjust the config.plist: 1. Remove shiki bootargs 2. add igfxonln=1 bootarg (prevent HDMI issues after wake) and -wegnoegpu (Disable dedicated gpu) - Add the right Framebuffer settings for the IGPU under Devices - Properties For i9900k with Intel UHD 930 its: plattform-id 3E9B0007 and device id 0x3E988086. Patch can easily created with Hackintool. So this EFI can be used with IGPU only also! But since the CPU has the same IGPU it might work. Just generate the serial numbers in SMBios. canstoptherokk
Good Morning. I'ts me again, the Guy with the Z390 Pro Wifi and Steinberg UR44C stuffs... I now decided to give the 5700XT another try, as i was horribly unsuccessful with it before, but giving up isn't an option, right? First of all, my F11c setup with the RX 590 works like a charm, thanks to @AudioGod <3 i now put in the 5700XT (Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro+ Special Edition), and on booting of MacOS, after the apple logo and loading bar, i get a blank screen. the system is running, because if i 'blindly' put in my password, the machine is audibly doing something. Also, the screen isn't off or anything, it looks like its running but it's not rendering the OS. I suppose this is to be expected when using the iMacPro1,1 smbios with the 5700XT? I am connected via DP, alltho i also tried HDMI which bears the exact same result. So my first step was to come back here, and see if there's any updated packages, which i can try, and there are (from May 4th), but as i'm using the Z390 Pro Wifi, i don't have a F12d Bios update yet. and the regular Pro one won't install on my board. i have tried using the new package, and changing back the Bios Version and Board-ID to what i had in my previous config, but that also didn't work at all. So i suppose my main question is: does anyone have any pointers as to if/how i would get this fancy fresh 10.15.5 ready setup with the Z390 Pro Wifi F12c ? any help is greatly appreciated! - T AORUS Z390 Pro Wifi - i9-9900k - hyperX Predator - Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro+ Special Edition - Samsung 970 Evo NVME M.2 - Audio Production Machine. canstoptherokk.zip Edited May 7, 2020 by canstoptherokk 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339980-audiogods-aorus-z390-pro-patched-dsdt-mini-guide-and-discussion/page/121/#findComment-2721328 Share on other sites

stavidawg
Two quick questions. 1). Is switching from your clover to Open Core EFI as easy as as implying changing those three parameters (i.e. MLB, System Serial, System smUUID)? 2). If so I tried that, however Open Core boots into my windows drive (have dual boot/2 separate NVMe drives). Is there a simple way to get OSX to boot first, aside from pulling the windows drive out? Reason I ask is that my GPU fans are hanging over my windows NVMe drive just enough that I can't easily get unscrew it with out taking the GPU out (I know I'm lazy).. Otherwise, I'm perfectly content with clover as it stands now but just got some down time and figured I would try "the future" lol. SN UUID and MLB plus ROM is your Mac Address 2. Two ways to default what drive you want, 1, At the bootlicker select the drive you want to default to and press control and enter or 2, in MacOS open System preferences then open StartUp Disk and select what disk what want to default to from there. Both ways work a treat. 29 minutes ago, canstoptherokk said: thank you for the quick response. Have you removed the boot argument agdpmod=pikera by anychance? Is the same thing happening on different outputs on the card? Clear the nvram from the BootPicker (F11 via Clover) only other thing I can think of is you have traces of an old way of doing things EFI wise eg like using UltraCrap from the red apple site and its left a load of mess in there. the 5700xt or any navi card works Ott using my navi or OpenCore EFIs with no exceptions that I know of. Double check it if you like but all should be fine. your 5700xt works normally via windows? you could try changing agdpmod=pikera to agdpmod=ignore or remove it all together.
