yes I have understood but Plugintype was flagged in config.plist @obus shared here and I have not touched it..hower he could try also to unflag it and see if he is sure SSDT for cpu is loaded fine

Sorry for cutting in, I'm not expert of Xeon processors, but I saw your configs ang I think you should untick plugin type in your config, because you using SSDT.aml which contain plugin-type.

good point @hardcorehenry!

I will uncheck and test with @fabiosun:s config.plist.

Not working.

No FV and no XCPM.

Tried with both checked and unchecked plugin in clover.:dev:

I think you shouldn't rename your generated SSDT like that, because you put in sorted order then the same name of your SSDT is in drop tables. ssdt.png.3a519a96434c3e33fe6498dfe7d1d0f3.pngThis name I guess is reserved for your OEM. You should leave original name SSDT.aml and your config would look like that.

You mean SSDT.aml and SSDT-1.aml and so on?

Drop OEM is always checked.

For the moment I have two SSDT. SSDT-CpuPm.aml and SSDT-C422-All-iMacPro.aml.

Could you please sow me how you mean?1013302386_Screenshot2019-04-24at18_57_12.thumb.png.b9a1888fd7ae752ba226579315925361.png

rename this SSDT-CpuPm.aml in SSDT.aml if I understand well and then put the same name in sorted order

SSDT generated with Pike's script (containing Plugin-type) shouldn't be named as SSDT-CpuPm.aml, if you are going to drop tables CPU OEM (CpuPM and Cpu0Ist). You can name it SSDT.aml

Ok.

I renamed my two SSDT to SSDT.aml and SSDT-1.aml.

Cleared NVRAM and tried with and without plugin checked and still no progress.

It seems that FV and PM consecuentely not loading at all when using bootstrap.

When using PMhart  _xcpm_pkg_scope_msrs_ everything seems to work fine. Why?

same config.plist?

if so..maybe your motherboard needs of that scope patch :)ends of the story :)))))

No!

I removed SSDT "CpuPm" from ACPI patched. And Used FakeCPUID 0x0506E4 and PMhart:s _xcpm_pkg_scope_msrs_ and

unchecked SSDT and SSDT-1 in drop tables

We have a working rig with FV and PM with PMhart:s _xcpm_pkg_scope_msrs_ patch together with FakeCPUID 0x0506E4.

if so..maybe your motherboard needs of that scope patch :)ends of the story :)))))

Hi @fabiosun you have this conversation with Pike two years ago.

https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh/issues/261

"Pike, Is it available a reboot fix patch for Sierra (GM) as the one you created for El Capitan 10.11.6?

Many people uses boot strap patch or idle patch that inhibit XCPM start..."

Could this be an option for bootstrap?

Yes

i used reboot fix patch and fakecpuid in that era

but my Cpu was of an unknown type for a real Mac

So you used this patch to get XCPM to load. Is that right?
