i own 3 macs, 6 hackintoshes, 6 iphones and 2 ipads

So I guess the winner(s) of this hackathlon challenge will get one of these products? I'm in.

Will be interesting to see how the installing process of 10.14 will be like though. I'm pretty busy lately so I won't be able to install it right away anyway :(

I need them for my work as a developer, i just saved the money i earned working for a company for some months. But i got most of the ios stuff for free, because family and friends do not need them or upgraded to newer stuff, for the hackintoshes my hobby is to collect computer parts of all kinds, mostly stuff i get for cheap used in local markets and on ebay (my favorites are ms-dos and late 90s stuff like 3dfx cards), only 2 machines were built on purpose with brand new parts, but as always, i have to save money for a while to buy something, and also the mac are gifts i recived in the past from friends and family. The only mac i bougth with my own maney is my macbook pro 15 inc 2017 i bougth with the scolarship's money i earned at the italian ios developer academy (yes i did study there and i know some people at apple too, but my passion is hacking and doing interesting stuff with my machines and also i love all the flexibility that a custom desktop gives to me)

so i am not rich, and the only prize here is the satisfaction of a successfoul installation

if there are not any problems in a few hours we should have already done it, just the time to download and install it on a mac, and then install the hackintosh kexts and create the kernelcache to distribute here on the forum

well download time is 2-3 mins for me

2-3 mins to get it on usb

another 2 mins for boot -s of course to force fakesmc and lan to load

then install is unknown could take up to 15-20 mins

and once thats done boot -s force kexts again to load

than boot in 10 seconds and done

thats the last years since 10.9 on the first day

If this is enough then it will not be challenge. I have to remind SIP introduced in 10.11.

What news will be with 10.14?

clover does already takes care very well of sip, and we should be still fine until apple does some hw changements, and we have to wait until the wwdc to see what's new

Well ! This is not really new , because at every new OSX beta release there is an untold race to install and run new OS, as Fast as We can.

So the challange can begin ... as usual ...

Have fun !!!

Well I'm out of the game. My real mac is too old to install 10.14. My 2011 MacBook Air is now deemed too old.

luckly my macs are not too old, i will upload a modded prelinkedkernel with fake smc here

i have downloaded the installer in 3 minutes with my fiber connection

the relinked kernel is too big to be uploaded here, we should find another place

No need for it just download patched PMHeart cloverx64.efi and you're done, people already installed it as well ^_^ !

yes, just that with your existing high Sierra efi folder and the new apfs.efi (and also move kexts to the Others folder) and it should work just fine

sorry for the late reply but I was busy making it to work on my machine
