Update to 10.13.5 Beta 5 (17F70a) Went well. repatched Nvidia Web driver to 17F. Reinstalled sound Kext with ikext tool

The update to 10.13.5 Beta 5 (17F70a) was fast and smooth.  I couldn't tell the difference from the last beta (or from 10.13.4 for that matter.). I did notice a change in the update process - no more window on gray background during the first stage of the update.

Me too. For the first time since 10.13.4 I could leave both screens plugged in and get the progress screen.
