Hey Everyone!

this is my first post on this forum and I'm kind of a nooob, but I'm currently posting this from my new Hackintosh!

the audio and internet works fine but my intel HD 530 graphics are ripping and tearing like crazy. my specs are as follows:

i5 6600k 3.5 GHz (Cooler Master 212 EVO CPU cooler)
Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI
Ballistix 16GB (2x 8) DDR4 2400
Corsair CS650M PSU
Samsung 850EVO 250B SSD
*Internal Graphics for now*

My system is reading Intel graphics 7000 with 7MB when it should be HD 530 and I was hoping that someone could give me some insight to certain kexts or any solution.

I've tried clover configurator, but it doesn't seem to want to recognize the changes. I used ##### to install Sierra but ##### doesnt seem to want to work, and I can only boot from the UEFI on my bootable USB not from the hard drive itself.

Anyway hope someone out there can help me out.

Thanks!

I downloaded both intelgraphicsfixup and the lilu kext, and tried to install them using kext beast but didnt seem to work. I don't think I have a proper EFI mount.

Also I tried to install via clover and it wouldnt work! only ##### worked. As I said before I'm quite a noob and this is my first osx86 build, but I want to learn as much as possible.

Newbie question: where exactly are you supposed to mount the EFI? I have numerous versions of the config.plist but when I restart the computer they all disappear.

Another Newbie question: the intelgraphicsfixup is a "exec"? file not a kext. So how do I use this?

thanks for the help!

more newbieness: how exactly do I inject Lilu, and also what exactly are its extensions. I opened the intel graphics fixup and terminal popped up saying that the process was completed.

step one never use tonytools again

I've tried clover in a number of configurations already and none worked. I feel like with more tinkering I'd be able to get it tho. Also tried Chameleon and that didn't work for me either. The only reason I used tonys is because it worked first time. But Im gonna keep trying other ones to see if I can get them to work as well.

also I'm quite a noob. but one day I'll be good at this.

You need to add the lilu.kext and IntolGraphicsFixup.kext in the /EFI/Clover/kext/10.12 or /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other and Inject Intel true under Graphics section with the ig-platform-id 0x19120000. if the 0x19120000 didn't work you can use 0x193b0000

You also need to add these fixes under the ACPI section:

change HECI to IMEI

change GFX0 to IGPU

I attached a config.plist for your examination check it and you'll know what to do. You can also give it a try but it might not work on your rig.

when I try and inject the intelgraphicsfixup this screen pops up. I don't really know how to properly iject Lilu either.

Is there any tutorials or posts that give you a overview of how to use/inject these kexts for a hackintosh.

Also one for clover configurator would be useful as well

Thanks,

So I placed the whole folder called macOS in under EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.12

Just not used to seeing this exec terminal looking file.

No you need to copy the IntelGraphicsFixup.kext and Lilu.kext in the /EFI/Clover/kext/10.12 or /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other like this:

This way clover will automatically inject the kext file itself.
