1. hi!!!! I try to install High Sierra 10.13.4 on HP Z400 (Intel Xeon W3520 CPU and Nvidia fx 3800 Graphics) but is unposible for me to boot. I create a vanilla usb and with them i boot normaly to my laptop HP DV6 2170 SV Intel I5 Nvidia Gforce Cuda but no to my desktop. The only way to install hackintosh on HP Z400 for me is with Niresh Zone Installation. When I try niresh usb on laptop does not work... So the vanilla usb is working perfect on laptop but no on desktop and Niresh usb is working perfect on Desktop by no to my laptop. My question is; is there someone to help me where is the diference and what is wrong? thank you in advance....
2. When I installed 10.13.4 I tried to boot macOS with iGPU enabled only in BIOS (without injecting and kexts, HD 4600) and my daily use dGPU (GTX 750 Ti, injected in config and web drivers enabled) and everything works fine, but it boots slower. There is a chance to make fully working dGPU and iGPU at one time? With kexts, injects, et cetera? Something like dGPU as eGPU and iGPU as main GPU? I don't want to break my build, so I am asking you before trying it. My computer: MOBO: Gigabyte P85-D3 GPU: Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti Windforce (2GB VRAM) CPU: i5-4670 RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Audio: ALC887 Ethernet: Realtek RTL 8111 Drives: SSD Goodram 240GB and HDD 1TB.
3. Hi, I noticed some weird behavior with macOS High Sierra. This system was working just fine on Sierra 10.12.5, until I decided to update to High Sierra (10.13.3). The upgrade process went mostly fine I guess, but it got stuck in an infinite spinning wheel which would just keep overlapping. I went into verbose mode, and sure enough, I found "IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0" repeating over and over along with ACM errors... I'm really lost right now. I can boot in recovery mode and safe mode just fine, when the graphics drivers aren't loaded. Web drivers aren't installed. I installed NvidiaGraphicsFixup, but it didn't fix the issue. I tried deleting the native graphics drivers from macOS and installing web drivers, but it didn't help. SMBIOS: iMac13,1 Graphics card: ASUS GT630-2GD3 (It's a Fermi card and it needs injection, so I modified my DSDT. Full graphics acceleration worked in Sierra. No Clover injection. I tried using Clover injection instead, I saw no difference.) CPU: Intel Core i3-3210, iGPU disabled in UEFI All kexts updated to their latest versions, along with Clover. For more info, you can refer to the GitHub issue where I posted it. https://github.com/lvs1974/NvidiaGraphicsFixup/issues/3 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time! config.plist
4. This is a dedicated thread about the intel 8255X based ethernet cards which, although being old (but also very cheap and easy to find used online), they still works in the latest macOS releases today i tested mine with the 64 bit compiled AppleIntel8255X kext and works like a charm! stable and withou any issues with mine 100 mbit managed ethernet switch and also without suffering of problems like connection dieing under heavy load or sleep/wake issues, so just to report that i have create this dedicated thread about and also i leave the kext as an attachment, in this post, this may be usefoul to have cheap working ethernet for hackintosh machines running the latest macOS or just to reuse old hardware some one can have laying around. 6. i have ended up getting high sierra installed on my intel DQ670w board. i used a premade high sierra/clover dmg i extracted to a usb flash drive. right now the audio, networking arnt working and the video card i have in the machine an nvidia geforce 1050 gtx ti it works but has very very very choppy/jittery video. i did find some kext files for the network and audio but when i put them in the extensions folder they didnt do anything to add audio or networking. also i have to get the machine to boot from the hard drive rather then having to boot the usb flash drive to get the hard drive to boot and i have to work on the video card stuff as well. i am not to good at this stuff cause usually when i have tried stuff i end up breaking stuff or that stuff doesnt work. i am not all that code or certain tech savy. i am not the brightest. i like things laid out where its all like this is the files and where you get them from this is how u work with them kind of thing. it does agravate me when people just wont lay out stuff as like a dummy book does and makes everything easy. i tried on facebook groups and got as far as to be told what kexts to find but never told where to find them. i did try to look on my own and i did find a few kexts but they where ones that needed alterations to the os to even make them usable. the video kext or driver i was told to install it and do something like change something to true. all i need are the kext files and to make the machine boot from the hard drive rather then complaining it doesnt have an os on the drive or having to use the usb flash drive to make it boot and the video files and to know how to deal with the files and make them work without having to start over with everything and reinstalling stuff

9. Hi all guys I need your help and I hope you can help me I took the road to install High Sierra on my new build and now I have some doubt / difficulty I do not know how to solve. My configuration: 8700K Asrock Z370 Professional Gaming i7 AMD RX580 Nitro+ 8GB First I created the usb pendrive and I used Clover with the following configurations: Bootflag: dart=0 -v Kext: Bios Setting: VT-d = Disabled Share Memory = 128MB IGPU Multi-Monitor = Enabled XHCI Hand-off = Enabled SMBIOS: iMac18,3 So far no problem, it started successfully, I initialized the hdd in APFS and I ran the installation. Once finished, it started and I made the first configuration successfully. At this point I configured Clover the same way as the installation: Bootflag: dart=0 disablegfxfirmware shikigva=4 -rad4200 darkwake=8 Devices: Graphics: Kernel and Kext Patches: SMBIOS: iMac18,3 Kext: I reboot and start without problems, but I know there is some problem to solve ... for example, the video card seems to recognize it but if I run a benchmark with "Novabench" I noticed that the GPU is recognized as 1GB: With "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Disabled": || || || I tried to delete "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Enabled" and I recognize the card differently but the same problem presents itself: || || || Why is it recognized by 1GB instead of 8GB? While on System Profiler is recognized by 8GB .... I'm doing something wrong? I tried to enable also "Hardware Encoding & HEVC Support" but I noticed a detail that I do not know if it's right or not (Hardware Info "MacX Video Converter Pro"): Without "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Enabled": With "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Disabled": [COMING SOON SCREENSHOT] Is it normal that this occurs? Which one is correct? I'm going completely in confusion I'm trying to figure out if I need to make any other changes to the system, if I add some other patches to make it work properly but I do not know where to check. I'm trying to configure the DSDT but DSDT Editor and MaciASL do not work, they do not open the DSDT.aml file generated by AIDA64. Do you know how to give me a hand? I'm banging my head for 2 days I thank you in advance for the help and I apologize for my english I hope I was clear

12. Hey everyone, I just got my XPS13 9360 (latest model with Kaby Lake Refresh i7 and UHD 620 IGPU, though the screen is FHD) almost set up in an acceptable state. I am currently running 10.13 and I've used this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/320471-guide-dell-xps-13-9360-on-macos-sierra-1012x-lts-long-term-support-guide/ as a base for installing. I also enabled HWP using the SSDT patch. However i am having some issues with USB-C to HDMI output (presumably due to the LTS guide still using a patched Skylake FB instead of native Kaby Lake FB). When a display is connected to my USB-C to HDMI adapter under OS X, i get a lot of screen flickering; the screen randomly flickers with a random (garbled image) every second to every few seconds (seems somewhat periodic) and sometimes the screen even turns off completely for a second, as if it was losing signal or having transmission errors. It works fine on windows however. Also, when i use Retina Display scaling and put the device to sleep and wake it back up, only a portion of the screen is being used to render the display output on the LVDS. Might be unrelated though. Has anyone managed to get Kaby Lake (or Kaby Lake R, specifically with this UHD 620 chip (platform-id seems to be 0x59178086 by the way...)) working with its native framebuffer? Or have you encountered similar problems? EDIT: I tried using Kaby Lake FB using RehabMans sample plist (using it as a whole and adjusting it) https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD615_620_630_640_650.plist as well as the updated FakePCI ID release with new device ids It works, however i haven't managed to get HDMI working, even with the proposed property addition in the plist. EDIT 2: I managed to get Kaby Lake FB working 100% using this repo as a base for my patches https://github.com/the-darkvoid/XPS9360-macOS Also managed to get HWP working properly and get the fan to spin up less (turbo toggle, gpu pm adjustments for lower base clock, frequency vector adjustments, some X86PlatformPlugin plist adjustments) and sleep is also working ( had to disable deepidle for that unfortunately ) The garbled image problem actually turned out to be some sort of ground-loop issue with another device connected to the power strip.
13. Hello all, I just completed my first full hackintosh build (Parts listed below) and have everything fully functional with the exception of CPU power management. Has anyone had success with this in high sierra skylake build? I have followed a couple different guides I have found without success, none of which are for high sierra. High Sierra Build CPU= i7 6700k Mobo= Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI RAM= G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 3000MHz PSU= EVGA 750W Titanium Liquid Cooling= NZXT Kraken X52 GPU= None yet, using onboard HD530 currently. SSD= Samsung 850 500GB What's working: Pretty much everything (iMessage, Audio, Display, etc..) What's not working: CPU power management is the only thing I have found to be non functioning.
14. Run Intel HD 630 on Pentium G4600

Hello, I am running High Sierra with Pentium G4600 (Intel HD 630) on MSI B250I. I have tried the FakeID 0x59128086 and ig-platform id 0X59120000 but I was getting the gIOScreenLockState 3. I changed to a FakeID of 0x19168086 and ig-platform of 0x19160000 and is booting using this kext: AppleALC.kext, AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext, CodecCommander.kext, FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext, FakeSMC.kext, IntelGraphicsFixup.kext, IntelMausiEthernet.kext, Lilu.kext, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext,, RealtekRTL8111.kext, Shiki.kext, USBInjectAll.kext, WhateverGreen.kext, XHCI-200-series-injector.kext and a FakeCPUID 0x0306A0 for the Pentium processor. OpenGL seams working but my dock bar is not transparent yet. Any help? Thanks, Andrea
15. Haven't seen these in one spot yet, so here's what you'll need if you have this combination of components (A relatively popular one as it used to be featured on logicalincrements.com, but not anymore) For booting into Clover, you'll need the FakeCPUID 0x0306A0. There's no other real, non-complicated way around this. You'll also need the iMac 13,2 SMBIOS (Ivy Bridge Model). Use XNU Power Management instead of AICPM, the boot flag for this is: -xcpm You'll also need some kexts, so go ahead and put these in your EFI folder Audio Chipset: Realtek ALC662 (VoodooHDA - Attached) LAN Chipset: Realtek 8111GR (RealtekRTL8111.kext - Attached) NullCPUManagement.kext (Attached) OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 (Should be installed when you install Clover) BIOS on UEFI defaults, with CSM set to UEFI. With all of this, you should get a working installation up in no time. The rest depends upon your GPU, etc. I went ahead and wrote this up in a couple of minutes just a quick reference, I'll probably add more to this though. Hi all, I'm doing a mackintosh in a EliteBook 840 G2. it has an Intel HD 5500 Graphics Card. and I can't figure out how to make it work properly, when I check Inject intel on clover I get this loop below, it keep looping over these two different lines: RTUSBWriteMACRegister: Offset = 0x1314 - Value 0x3030505 ... AGS: ---> MlmeDynamicTxRateSwitchingAGSv2 ... RTUSBWriteMACRegister: Offset = 0x1314 - Value 0x3030505 ... 17. hello I am using a laptop and using the ig-platform-id 0x0a260006. I have a intel hd4600 graphics on my intel 17-4710hq cpu and currently I only have 1536mb of ram but the max my graphics can support is 2GB so I need a point in the right direction of how to go about changing this so that I can utilize all 2GB of possible intel integrated graphics. I'm trying to learn some stuff!!! is there a patch I need to create? is there some code I need to edit? anything helps as I am new to hackintosh. I just installed mines like a week ago. thanks anyone for the help.
18. Intel HD 530 Graphics

Hey Everyone! this is my first post on this forum and I'm kind of a nooob, but I'm currently posting this from my new Hackintosh! the audio and internet works fine but my intel HD 530 graphics are ripping and tearing like crazy. my specs are as follows: i5 6600k 3.5 GHz (Cooler Master 212 EVO CPU cooler) Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI Ballistix 16GB (2x 8) DDR4 2400 Corsair CS650M PSU Samsung 850EVO 250B SSD *Internal Graphics for now* My system is reading Intel graphics 7000 with 7MB when it should be HD 530 and I was hoping that someone could give me some insight to certain kexts or any solution. I've tried clover configurator, but it doesn't seem to want to recognize the changes. I used ##### to install Sierra but ##### doesnt seem to want to work, and I can only boot from the UEFI on my bootable USB not from the hard drive itself. Anyway hope someone out there can help me out. Thanks!
19. I have a Mac Mini 2006 (upgraded) with Intel GMA950 graphics, running MLPostFactor 10.8.5. It is connected to an ASUS VS197 LCD panel using DVI-D. This is natively a 1366x768 panel that is recognized and works fine. However, the other choices for resolution are 4:3 800x600 and 1024x768, and then the oddballs 832x624 and 1360x768. None of these are useful as a low-resolution widescreen for gaming or watching DVD content. Specifically I want to get access to 848x480 or 854x480, and also 1024x576. SwitchResX makes these choices available, but it doesn't work with a "full screen" game, presumably because the game directly queries OSX Display to get a list of valid resolutions and SwitchResX is bypassing that system instead. So the solution is obvious: buy a new computer pull the monitor's EDID data, hack it to enable new resolutions, and then tell OSX to use this custom EDID instead of the one retrieved from the monitor. Following the steps of the EDID injection guide, here is where I am: * Retrieve EDID, DisplayVendorID etc from ioreg. 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 04 69 F2 19 24 94 00 00 31 16 01 03 80 29 17 78 EA F5 45 A4 55 50 9E 27 0F 50 54 BD EE 00 81 C0 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 66 21 56 AA 51 00 1E 30 46 8F 33 00 9A E6 10 00 00 1E 00 00 00 FD 00 32 4B 18 53 11 00 0A 20 20 20 20 20 20 00 00 00 FC 00 41 53 55 53 20 56 53 31 39 37 0A 20 20 00 00 00 FF 00 43 43 4C 4D 54 46 30 33 37 39 32 34 0A 00 F1 * Use an EDID editor to enable new 848x477 and 1024x576 resolutions. (Verify with an online EDID tool, and compare to the previous version) 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 04 69 F2 19 24 94 00 00 31 16 01 03 80 29 17 78 EA F5 45 A4 55 50 9E 27 0F 50 54 BD EE 00 81 C0 4B C0 4B CA 4B CF 61 C0 61 CA 61 CF 01 01 66 21 56 AA 51 00 1E 30 46 8F 33 00 9A E6 10 00 00 1E 00 00 00 FD 00 32 4B 18 53 11 00 0A 20 20 20 20 20 20 00 00 00 FC 00 41 53 55 53 20 56 53 31 39 37 0A 20 20 00 00 00 FF 00 43 43 4C 4D 54 46 30 33 37 39 32 34 0A 00 47 * Create a new subfolder and plist within /System/Library/Overrides/Display/ containing the new EDID string and monitor name. * Reboot. Now the problems begin. Even though the plist file is being read (which I know because the Monitor Name has changed in Displays), the custom EDID is not being used. When I dig into IORegExplorer I am able to come up with AAPL00,EDID string and it is the unmodified one read from the monitor. I even tried a plug-and-unplug while OSX is running, and also tried to reset the SMC and NVRAM, but no dice. Do I need to start digging into DSDT hacking? Is the Intel driver pulling down EDID during boot and I need to override it somewhere else? What am I missing here?
20. Hi! I need help with installation of OS X on samsung np300e7a-s02pl. I've tried with Sierra on Clover but there was a problem with display. Purple stripes and system not scaled to screen, but system was only working with AppleIntelPMpatch. Otherwise it couldnt even boot. In verbose were some lines "Found unsupported chip ... ITL Sequence= 0xffff", "name not a kext" or something. I dont think that cpu could be the problem. Am I doing something wrong or maybe i need to install older OS X? Here are some specs: CPU: Intel Core i3-2330M GPU: Nvidia GT 520M RAM: 6GB
21. Hello, I've successfully installed macOS Sierra (10.12.5) on my Lenovo Thinkpad x220i (2011). I followed the x220 mcdonnelltech guide which I had to remove AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsGLDriver.bundle kext as it prevented the os from booting up. Everything is working fine except the brightness (which I fixed via the guide) and QE/CI is not working. The dock is not transparent and images are failing to load in screensaver and I'm experiencing lags/delay in launchpad. I'm using all of the stock Intel graphics kexts except AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsGLDriver.bundle. How do I enable full QE/CI acceleration in Intel HD 3̶0̶0̶0̶? I believe that it could be achieved if I manage to get AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsGLDriver.bundle working but, I absolutely have no idea how (It shows white apple logo with a loading bar that is stuck on 0%, verbose mode shows nothing related to the problem. ). I also tried various patched Intel graphics kext which had no effects . The problem may lie in the config.plist, dsdt or the bios setting. My Specs: Intel HD 3̶0̶0̶0̶ Graphics 384mb Vendor: Intel (0x08086) Device ID: 0x0116 Revision ID: 0x0009 Resolution: 1366 x 768 Intel® Celeron® CPU 847 @ 1.10GHz smbios: MacBook Pro 8,1 clover: config.plist and dsdt are from the mcdonnelltech guide Any help would be really appreciated! Update: I do not have Intel he 3000, I have Intel HD instead. I will be trying to create my own working dsdt, thank you for the clarification.

PC dose not work without both connected. I need both monitors, but the built-in VGA out gives artifact sometime (rarely), and always if GPU output monitor not connected. need a fix for this so i can use windows properly as duel boot, also it wil help me see the good output of my video render result. if there is no solution, then will it work if i inject intel and vbios? along inject ati? 2nd problem is with performance. I am not getting performance as others with same CPU build, i think it relates to my clover config. on cinebench i am getting 600-700 while i see everyone else getting 800-850 avrage. I have attached my config.plist I dumped my config.plist code at the link below, it will be help if anyone can see if any fix needed in my config https://pastebin.com/jfufVgM4 i attached image of kext used, if any additional kext needed for cpu, let me know. apart from that, everything else seems to work, is there any suggest stress test for hackentosh? i want to check stability of my build My config: sierra 10.12.0 GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK intel 4790k haswell Transcend 256GB SSD (SSD370S) team elite 1600bus ram 4x8gb ATI SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 285 2GB GDDR5 OC 299-1E306-200SA for anyone who helped or thinking of helping, Thanks in advance
