Create a bootable copy of macOS Sierra
Check out the link

--Install Clover in USB stick UEFI mode

--Replace Folder

--Install System and boot with USB STICK!beachball.gif
--Install Clover in UEFI mode and replace with my folder
Mavericks / Yosemite
El Capitan / Sierra

--Reboot and activate video!

Bingo!

Now you need a fine tune! I prefer DSDT way, apply all patches in one file, many people prefer many SSDTs or Clover patches!boxing.gif

If you need DSDT edit...
-Post your full Clover folder with original tables in Origin folder(Extract with F4 in Clover boot screen)

That’s a great topic. Followed your guide and managed to install, and run, Sierra. I’ll come back very soon in the next days to ask for help in fine tuning, if you don’t mind!

Thanks again for sharing!

Francesco

Hi MaLd0n,
I’m really not capable of doing the SSDT “thing”. I’ve tried with PikerAlpha script several time before, but I don’t have the knowledge to understand what I’m doing.

Could you help me generating It?

The file you requested are attached.

Thank you very much!!

Hello MaldOn. First of all, thanks for the great job you do !

Here is the case : I Have a MB asus z97m-plus with a i3 4330 processor. I succeed to install OS X el capitan, everything works perfectly, but I would like to have a dsdt and ssdt. I tried to use your dsdt file for the MB, but it doesn't work, the forbidden sign appears when booting. And I am really not good with dsdt and ssdt editing...Could you help me a bit to do that ?

Here are all my files.

Thanks again !

Thanks. I just tried to replace with your folder, doesn't work. Same as before, very long for booting, and next appears the forbidden sign.

And here is my new Ioreg when booting without the dsdt.aml.

Hi Guys I have been trying to get my hackintosh to work using High Sierra... My Build is:--

      Asus Z87-K Mother board
      Intel i5 processor
      8 gig of Memory
      Nvidia Geforce GT 730 4gb DDR3
      500gb SSD hard drive
I can get it up and running if I take Graphics card out and use Internal graphics, but when I have my graphics card in the only way I can get it to work is to use boot flag nv_disabe=1 .... and the graphics are rubbish..... I am trying to get it working by creating my own DSDT file..

what I have tried is to download and used  RwPortableX64V1.7 to extract 4 SSDT.aml files and one DSDT.aml ... I was looking on this forum for any clues what to do next
but I a am afraid I am stuck... I have uploaded the files I extracted from  RwPortableX64V1.7

      Any Help would be appreciated

I had a few with catalina after updating to the latest update.
I decided to do a vanilla installed with as little kexts and drivers as possible.
Installation went fine until i get to disk utility, unable to erase the DATA partition.
I'm pretty sure im missing a driver somewhere.

      Clover Version: 5099
      Config: Manual Configuration

Clover Kexts: LiLu - WhateverGreen - AppleALC - Intelmausi - VirtualSMC - SMCProcessor - SMCIO
      UEFI Drivers: ApfsDriverloader.efi - AptioMemoryfix.efi = FSinject.efi - vBoxHFS.efi - SMChelper.efi - OsxaptifixDrv.efi
      UEFI Bios: HSPlus - ApfsDriverloader

      Any help appriciated

Gigabyte, in their infinite wisdom, decided to remove the option to disable serial ports, and not being able to do so has been causing me some problems. I know that I have to either use a patch in clover, or create a custom SSDT to disable super I/O, but I honestly do not know how to go about doing this. One of the weirder problems I'm experiencing is the inability to connect to Apple Music (error 11556) unless I go into my network settings, and delete my serial connection. If anyone could help me out with this, that'd be greatly appreciated; anyway, thank you for taking the time to read this.
