tmbt Posted March 3, 2019 Share Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) HI, i'm not sure this is the right place to write about my issue but i hope in moderator forgiveness if it's not .... I'm running Mojave 14.3 and i'm quite happy about except for a little detail. Wake/sleep using laptop lid doesn't work. What's happening is if i close the lid the system goes to sleep. When i open the lid again the system wake up but the laptop display stay black. The system is on . It's just the display black. If i connect an external monitor to the laptop after the sleep / wake process the external monitor is working and i can login (the internal display alwasy black). IOreg after the sleep/wake process shows that the AppleBacklightDisplay entry is not there anymore. This is happening only if i sleep/wake using the lid because if i use the Apple->Sleep button it works without any issues. Could be something in my DSDT ? I gave a look at the the LID method but my ACPI knowledge doesn't allow me to understand it. Is this the right place to write and ask for help ? What do I need to change to get it working..? Edit, think i found the issue. When we enable DSDT shurtcut of sound does not work anymore and i can not assign them in system settings. Can you fix sound issue and battery icon on current DSDT which already solved screen birgtness issue?
