I decide to try nVidia web drivers in 10.10.1 .. After their installation my login boot screen (user and pass) get to the second screen (not the main one). From then I cant make it work to show login screen to my main screen.. tried to remove web drivers .. same situation. Anyone with decision?

nVidia GT440, SMBIOS MacPro 3.1, Clover bootloader with nvidia injection..

I installed drivers WebDriver-343.02.02f01 after updating to 10.10.2 14C109 my Gforce GTX 750 works fine but I lost the hdmi audio from the geforce itself even with hdmi patching from clover. (it worked fine on 10.10.1 with older web driver). Someone can help me to patch it through clover or if there is another solution out there?

Thanx

same problem -.-"

I "solved" the problem w/this procedure:

1) Rollback at version 343.01.02f03 (by mod the OS Check in NvidiaWebDriver)

2) Set Nvidia Web Driver in Nvidia Driver Manager

3) add nvda_drv=1 in config.plist Clover

OF99AV:

I was confused by your procedure (2) & (3):

for (2) it uses OsX Default Driver from 10.10.2

but in (3) it will use NvidiaWebDriver version 343.01.02f03

Is there any conflict between these ?

You use this guide for DSDT HDMI audio patch https://raw.github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_uefi/master ?

Got the Nvidia driver installed and it is now working, but still shows up as "NVIDIA Chip Model" in About this Mac/System Information.

I used

pkgutil --expand
to extract the installation package.

Edit the file "Distribution" and change the build from 14A388a to 14A388b

Edit the Info.plist file in the NVDAStartup.kext and change the build in there too.

Then use

pkgutil --flatten
To put it all back into a .pkg so you can install it

or just delete these two lines

if (!validateHardware()) return false;

if (!validateSoftware()) return false;

it will delete hardware and software check function

;)

@dogma36

Post #14 #15 . By this procedure you skip OS Version and HW Check

Hello,

Using the "pkgutil --expand" command I get this:

29co2nt.jpg

* I had pasted the command in terminal, added a space, then drag and dropped the nvidia installer then I had hit enter.  What am I doing wrong?.

Thanks.

The correct syntax is :

pkgutil --expand DIR(PKG) DIR(File Unpkg)

After you modify the code's lines in Distribution, use this command

pkgutil --flatten DIR(File Unpkg) DIR.PKG

Ciao OF99 do you think there is a way to fix this new 10.10.2 nvidia webdrivers, properly injecting hdmi audio?

Maybe editing nvidia kext? Or do you think we can patch on the fly this issue using clover?

I write here just in case someone expert can help on this

Per ora stanno lavorando al problema. Ho provato diverse iniezioni tramite il DSDT (usando le guide di toleda), ma nessun successo con la nuova versione dei webdriver per ora -.-"

I have a GTX  650 Ti, never had a problem with it; is there any advantage to using these drivers.

Only Maxwell cards have advantages using this driver.

example: GTX750Ti is supported only via WebDriver.
