Oh I know you are booting using Nvidia Web Drivers, but I need an IOReg using Apple Official Nvidia Drivers, if you are using Clover just enter in Options on Boot menu you will see the NVDA_drv=1 option type enter on it and delete it, type enter again and select return, it will get you back to the boot screen. Select your Mac partition and boot. Take the IOReg and after reboot the Nvidia web driver will load again automatically.

We need a new thread about getting all working on the G750. In your IOReg saves I see you aren't using CPU Power management and with Voodoo you don't get the subwoofer working either.

Good luck

Hi,

IOReg with Apple drivers will be the same as before?

With Apple drivers and efi string laptop still does not boot from the lcd only and now it actually does not boot with the Apple drivers and a monitor attached.

Its only booting with nvidia drivers and your efi string.

Where to start a new thread for the G750?

Great!!!, I was right after all, there are some test to get all working, I mean for understand a little bit more. Please boot using Apple Nvidia Drivers and if it works, share and IORegistry explorer save.

I have a lot more good stuff for the G750, CPU power Management full working, Audio with 2.1 sound using AppleHDA, Keyboard Backlight (thanks to EMlyDinEsH and his Elan Driver even Auto off feature works!!), Brightness backlight control for the display, so please PM me for further instructions.

Good Luck

Edit: Ohh I almost forget to tell you, please mark the thread as solved.

We can try, please share an IORegistry save file. Is your machine using 120Hz Display?

Good Luck to all

Hello, my laptop is G55VW-DH71 and the display is not 3D. The graphics card is GTX 660M 2G. I want to make the EFI string by gfxutil, but the EFI string doesn't work, I need your help.

Hi,

@AREOS: Sometimes ago, you help me with my Alienware M17XR4 to try to make the screen work. I'm in the same situation now. I have a 120HZ screen and a GTX680M. With 10.9.1 I can boot with a VGA screen attached and get full acceleration on external screen and nothing on internal one. With 10.9.2 nothing work. I try VGA, HDMI and internal without success with both drivers (Apple and Web). I boot up removing all NVDA*.kext (not web) and without nvda_drv=1 in order to get to the desktop and make a ioreg dump.

For now DMOS is a bit a mess because it's hard to work on it without screen ^^.

I hope you can make magic for me.

Thanks a lot.

Your IOreg is corrupted try one more time using IORegistry Explorer V2, if you got an IOReg save from when you use 10.9.1 it will be great cause I can see what are your ports. Remember Asus Usually gets detected as port02 and Alienware as port 09.

what about g75vx with gtx 670 mx brothers/.?????

For G55 and G75 users see this, your issue is related to something else http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/284767-anyone-mobile-kepler-6xxm-working/?p=2007745.

Good Luck

Hi.

Thanks you for taking some time for us. I make a fresh installation of 10.9.1 and make a save with IO Registry Explorer v2.1. I hope this time it'll be correct.

You can find it in attachement.

Guys, I created a web yesterday, to centralize all stuff related to hackintoshing Asus ROG Notebooks and motherboards. ONLY for Asus ROG products. Not normal Asus products. The web is:

www.roghackintosh.org

Right now I´m creating all the structure for the database and forums. So, it is possible you can´t find your notebook or motherboard. Be patient. Maybe in a few days you can find it operative. I mean, it is operative already, but since the forum will be in english, spanish, french, russian, chinese, portuguese, hebrew, etc, It will take me some time to create all forum structure for all languajes.

If you are and advanced hackintosh user with ROG hardware, and want to help, contact me at contact@roghackintosh.org If you know other languaje than spanish or english I will need your help for sure.

I´m excited with the idea. With a little help from the insanelymac community, we can build a solid ROG hackintosh encyclopedia.

Regards.

Hi,

I followed almost all guides on the net about hackintoshing and nvidia cards. last night I saw your solution on insanelymac about nvidia keppler cards for asus laptops.
And I have a laptop Tosiba Qosmio X870 which is very similar to ASUS.
I7 3630 Qm, 16 GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 670m 3GB, Atheros Ethernet, Intel HM67 chipset, etc,
I am working to install a properly working hackintosh on this machine nearly for 2 months. Unfortunately, I am still at the beginning.
I am Following the tonymacs ELCapitan guide for installation process. Also no DSDT or SSDT patching was applied. I dont know ıf I really need the patching. Even I need, I dont know how to apply. Once I tried but the system has crashed. So please understand me that I am very poor on Mac system or hackintoshing Although I really understand about Windows based system. It doesnot help on hackintoshing.
My Problem is I cannot reach the installation proces without the command nv_disable=1.
With this command I can install el capitan. After Insatallation with the necessary kexts, Sound, keyboard, trackpad almost everything Works perfect.
System recognizes the graphic card perfectly name and RAM size are correct. BUT no QE/CI enabled. I tried every version of nvidia web drivers with every version of smbios configuration, from macbook to IMAC. Nothing changed. When I disable the boot flag nv_disable=1 from clover configurator the laptop boots, but the screen is garbled and nothing seen on the screen. I am sure the system is working properly on the back ground. BUT nothing on the screen  accept garble. when I dont enable nvdrive=1 or inject nvidia on GPU section on clover, the system doesnot recognize the nvidia and only shows 7MB RAM.
After reading the discussion about [sOLVED] Asus ROG laptops with Kepler cards not detecting DP-2 connected LCD display topic, I tried with HDMI cable, and VGA monitor (These are not working also) nothing changed.
I also tried your recommendations it did not help. Perhaps I couldnot do the right hex patch.
Please help me. I really need HAckintosh with full graphic features on my laptop.
I am sorry for my poor English.
Any help is apreciated.
THANKS A LOT.
