First of all I want to say THANK YOU A LOT to Daniel (MaLd0n) da Insanely Mac (esse cara é um gênio), Giesteira Paulo, Samuel Cabral e Lucas David do Hackintosh Brasil. GeekBench CPU Result: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/2737610 THIS IS ONLY FOR THIS MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte z270X Aorus Gaming 5 IT WILL NOT WORK IN ANY OTHER MOTHER BOARD!!! DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! MOBO: z270X Aoros Gigabyte Gaming 5 PROC: i7 7700k + Cooler Master Hyper X212 GPU: MSI GTX 1070 8GB DDR5 RAM: 32GB Ram Crucial Elite STORAGE 1: SSD 480GB Kingston STORAGE 2: SSD 128GB Samdisk <- Place where I installed my MacOS STORAGE 3: SSHD Seagate 1TB + Cooler HD STORAGE 4: HD Seagate 2TB FONT: EVGA 600W BQ So, this is what we did: 1 - Download this archive, you gonna use it during all the install. z270x - i7700k - GTX 1070 - MacOS.zip 2 - Get a Sierra 10.12 image. 3 - Create a boot pendrive with WinDiskImage. 4 - Go to EFI partition on the pendrive, replace the “CLOVER” folder for the one inside the "Pendrive Boot Clover folder" from the archive on the step 1. Delete the original one and replace with the one inside the archive from step 1. 5 - Go to your bios and set these options (*really important ones): - Bios First boot - Pendrive * Fast boot - disabled * Windows 8/10 features - other os * Lan pxe boot option ROM - disabled Storage boot control - UEFI * Other PCI devices - UEFI - Peripherals Onboard lan Controller - enabled Intel platform thrust technology ptt - disabled * SW guard extension - software controlled USB 3.0 dac-up 2 - normal Front USB 3.0_1 - normal Intel bios guard technology - disabled * - Peripherals - USB configuration Legacy USB support - enabled * Xhci hand off - enabled * USB mass storage driver support - enabled - Peripherals - Sata and RST configuration Sata controllers - enabled Sata mode selection - AHCI * Aggressive LPM support - enabled - Chipset VT-d - disabled * Internal graphics - auto All the other options - enabled - Power Platform Power management - disabled * Ac back - always off Power on by keyboard - disabled Power on by mouse - disabled Erp - disabled Soft off by power button - instant off Power loading - auto Resume by alarm - disabled Rc6 render standby - enabled 6 - Boot your pendrive and on the Clover boot screen choose the option "Boot Mac OS Install MacOS". 7 - In the first screen choose the language and than at the top menu open the application DISK UTILITY. 8 - Select the HD where you gonna install the OS and click on ERASE button. Use these options: - Name: Any name you want - Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - Scheme: GUID 9 - Click on erase and wait for the formating. 10 - Close the disk utility and back to the install follow the steps, select the HD you already formated and perform the install. 11 - After the install, DON'T remove the pendrive yet. You need it to boot the system for now. Boot from pendrive and now on the Clover boot screen choose the HD you already installed the system, "Boot from MacOS". 12 - Now you have the system on, install the latest version of Clover boot (the install pkg is inside the archive from step 1). At the “INSTALLATION TYPE” screen, click on the “CUSTOMIZE” button and check the boxes only for these options: - Install for UEFI Boot Only - Install Clover in the ESP - Bootloader -> Don’t update MBR and PBR Sectors - Themes (any you want) - Drivers64UEFI -> Fat-64 - Drivers64UEFI -> PartitionDxe-64 - Install Clover Preference Pane (optional) 13 - Click on install and finish the installation. Now you can remove your Boot Pendrive. 14 - Open the Clover Configurator and goes to the “MOUNT EFI”. At the right column theres a “EFI Partitions” box with all the EFI partitions. Look for the one of the mac and click on “MOUNT PARTITION” and then click on “OPEN PARTITION”. 15 - Inside the folder EFI there’s a folder called “CLOVER”. Repleace this folder with the one inside the “System Boot Clover Folder” which you can find in the archives you downloaded at the step 1. Just delete the original one on EFI partition and paste the other one in the same place. 16 - Run the Olarila.command inside the archives of the step 1 and wait for the “completed” message. 17 - Restart the system WITHOUT the boot pendrive. Go to the BIOS Settings and change the first option boot to the HD where u installed the MacOS. Save and reboot. 18 - Download this DMG and install the update from 10.12 to 10.12.4. THIS IS IMPORTANT! THE NVIDIA 10xx VIDEO CARD SERIES ONLY WORKS ON THIS OS VERSION! https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1910?locale=en_US 19 - Now the last step, install NVidia Driver. Download the latest version of the NVidia Web Driver and install it. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312525-nvidia-web-driver-updates-for-macos-sierra-update-04192017/(choose the latest version for your system - 10.12.4 in this case). 20 - Download and install NVidia Cuda Drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/mac-driver-archive.html YOU ARE READY TO GO!!! Patches used by Daniel (MaLd0n) in the DSDT.aml: - FIX ERRORS AND WARNINGS - HPET - SATA - DTGP - DMAC - SLPB - DARWIN - LPC - XHCI - PLUGIN TYPE - HDAS to HDEF - HDEF - RTC - IRQs - SBUS - BUS1 - MCHC - ALS0 - SHUTDOWN - LAN - USBX - PMCR - EC - PNLF - HDMI NVIDIA / ATI What works: - Intel i7 7700k - OK - Intel HD Graphics 630 - OK - NVidia GTX Video Cards (with pascal, series 10xx) and Cuda Drivers - OK - Memory RAM - OK - Realtek ALC1220 Audio Controller - OK - All back panel audio ports (Internal speakers, 2 line outs, digital output) - OK - DisplayPort Audio output from NVidia GTX - THERE’s ONLY AUDIO THROUGH THE DISPLAYPORT, NO AUDIO THROUGH THE HDMI. But you can easily use a DP - HDMI cable. - Intel PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller RJ45 Port - OK - Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2500 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller RJ45 Port - OK - All USB Ports, including 3.0 USB - OK - System Power Settings - OK - All the hard drives from my computer, including the ones formmated for windows working - OK (of course the ones formmated on windows, only for read, no write) What doesn’t work: - Boot windows from Clover Boot Screen. But you can use the F12 key to go to BIOS Boot Screen and select the Windows HD to boot. It’s fine - Front panel audio ports So, resuming the system is working PERFECT! Like a charm! Everything works and the machine is CRAZY fast now! Hope it goes fine for everyone too. Cya! SCREENSHOTS:
  2. Hey, long time no post! Apologies if this has been answered, every time I search I get a timeout on the site and I can't seem to get the search to work I've been sitting pretty with Yosemite for a while , but a recent hardware upgrade (Audio interface) means I can jump from Yosemite. I've successfully upgraded Clover, then the OS and for the most of it, it seems great. Everything works but the Graphics Driver (NVidia GeForce GTX670.) I can only boot into Mac if disable the NVIDIA drivers with the boot flag nv_disable=1 however that's not great I end up with one monitor working at 1024 x 768. I've updated the NVIDIA web drivers to the latest my build of sierra can take. I have the boot flag for web driver to be enabled (can't remember off the top of my head.. I'm on the work pc, soon to be home) Any ideas would be grateful, I spent much of last night and morning on this. Many Thanks UPDATE: I've managed to load successfully, between a combination of changing the SMBIOS to MacBook 14,2 and loading lilukext with NVIDIAgraphicsfixer. Everything is the same as Yosemite, except I do not have HDMI audio or onboard sound. I do have a dedicated audio interface so I'm not at a true loss.
  3. Hi, I have built my Hackintosh in 2012 succesfully with MountainLion 10.8.6 I used two monitors with GTX-650 ti ( HDMI & DVI ) with no problem. Now with the same Hackintosh I moved to El Capitan 10.11.6 ( Clean Install / Clover ) The install and Post Instalation went OK , but when I restart and tried to boot I got REBOOT LOOPS all the time, It was very frustrating.. After a lot research and trial & error , I finally got it work ( No reboot Loops anymore ) by Enabling Nvidia Eject ( something like Graphics Enabler=YES) I finally managed to boot normaly to El Capitan. BUT now, I cannot use both monitors. The only port that works now is the DVI port . I have also downloadd latest CUDA ( not web drivers ) but with no luck . If I remove the EjectNvidia option I know that both monitors gonna work , but then Im gonna have reboot loops again Is there any other alternative solution to make both monitors work ? Mobo:Z77X-UD5H CPU:Intel Core i7-3770K Graphics:GeForce GTX 650 Ti I finally found the solution ! I managed to find and install the correct Web drivers for invidia 6xx series for El capitan . Then I dissabled the Inject nvidia , and boom ! I have both monitors and NO reboot loops . Also in About rhis Mac panel , the graphics card is apearing in the correct way ( GTX 640 ti 2000 mb) When I first build the Hackintosh in mountain lion, NO drivers were needed - ONLY CUDA BUT now with El Capitan, the WEB Nvidia Drivers are essential .

    GTX 960 PCIe x8

Hi! I have a problem with my MB that forces me to use the PCIe 8x port instead of the 16x. It works fine but I'm not sure if it is performing as it should. If you own a GTX 960 could you run a quick benchmark and tell your score? My score in Tomb Raider 2013 Benchmark is Avg. ~58fps high detail (v-sync) GFXBench GL (Offscreen) (frames) Manhattan: 9755 T-Rex: 28088 ALU 2: 31543 Driver Overhead 2: 814 Texturing: 70802 LuxMark 3 LuxBall HDR: 5475 GpuTest Module: GiMark Score: 4205 points (FPS: 70) Standard settings (1024x640 AA off) Any results are welcomed!
  5. Recently upgraded to the Yosemite Public Beta and everything is working beautifully, as expected but playing videos causes my hackintosh to crash. Now I know it's not a Yosemite-specific issue because I had this same issue when I was using Mavericks and installing the NVIDIA Web Drivers fixed it for me (along with the pink-stutter frame issues in Flash Player) but the NVIDIA Web Drivers do not work with Yosemite yet for some reason (don't see why not other than version checking) and they disable themselves on startup. Is there any way around this? My current config is Clover UEFI (latest one) Intel i5 4670k @ 4.3GHz Gigabyte G1 Sniper m5 16GB DDR3 2200MHz EVGA GeForce GTX 760 SC 2GB GDDR5 Hope this is not just something I'm experiencing myself, tried to do a bit more googling and can't find any references (love all the info going around, almost seems like I never have to post anymore and I really try to avoid doing so but I'm completely stumped with this issue)

    PC Ware PMH61P1 e GTX 970 Turbo

Spinning beachball instead of login R9 390x

Hey forum geniuses, I'm having trouble getting my new installation of Yosemite to run correctly. First, some specs for you: MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-D3 FD CPU: AMD FX 6300 GPU: MSI R9 390x HDD: Sandisk 128GB SSD YosemiteZone 10.10.1 Distro The issue that I'm having is that after I installed Yosemite, which only required bootflags /amd64 and npci=0x3000, I'm unable to get to the login screen. The computer boots up fine, so there are no reported errors when using verbose boot. However, after the boot screen passes and I should get to the login screen, I get to a gray screen where the cursor becomes the beach-ball of death. Booting with -x allows login, but lacks any sort of graphics acceleration, so it takes a while to be able to do so. While I am not exactly sure as to what the cause is, I'm guessing it is related to my new R9 390x, as I had a previously functioning Yosemite build back when I had a GTX 760 and never encountered this issue with all other parts being the same. Perhaps it's as simple as loading the proper drivers, but I'm not familiar with what is required for an AMD graphics card. Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  8. Hi. First time builder/hackintosher here. Please be nice. This thread is a continuation of my other one: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/291208-haswell-success-ga-z87m-d3h-gtx-670/ where I successfully installed OS X 10.8.4 onto my machine. In this post I will discuss features that (don't) work. 1. Power management: I think so, as I can boot without patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext or NullCPUPowerManagement.kext. Does this screenshot of Activity Monitor clarify anything? http://i.imgur.com/GsTWhdX.png What does it mean? EDIT: Turns out that I'm lacking a whole load of processor states. It makes a huge jump from 800MHz to 3.17GHz. To be continued. 2. Audio: Working in 10.8.5 with patched AppleHDA as of https://github.com/toleda/audio_ALC892 https://github.com/toleda/audio_kext_enabler (also attached). 3. Graphics: QE/CI works out of the box with EVGA GeForce GTX 670. 4. Ethernet: Realtek's official driver for OS X Lion 10.7 works: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3 5. USB 3: Works (but I have only tested with USB 2 devices). AppleHDAEnabler1.zip PS2 Drivers.zip
  9. I stuck with my motherboard at a very strange point... The patched BIOS is installed and I took the Mavericks installer from this tutorial. And know I tried several Boot flags such as: GraphicsEnabler, UID, npci. But the Boot just crashs or stuck at this point, also tried different USB ports. Iam booting from the GTX 470 with DVI. I would be so glad for some help with this problem. Thank you guys!
  10. Hello Guys! Up for grabs is my current system, less than 7 months old... all installed nicely in a 85% done G5 Case. Here are the Specs: Mobo: Asus P8P67-Pro (Rev 3.1) (Supports Ivy Bridge) CPU: Intel 2nd Gen Core i5-2300 Cooler: Stock Intel Cooler (Was surprised by the performance) Memory: 2 x 4GB 1333 MHz Ram (8GB Total) System Supports up to 32GB (4 x 8GB) GPU: ATI HD 5450 1GB (Fully Working, except on some outputs requires sleep/wake for output) HDD: Seagate 2TB 5900 RPM Sata 6Gb/s Audio: While the Onboard Audio DOES work, you cannot plug it in due to the back panel, so I have an Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Installed. Optical Drive: DVD Burner (Dont know Brand) Power Supply: DiabloTek 550 Watt PSU Modded into the PowerMac G5 PSU Casing Fans: Front CPU and PCI stock G5 fans wired at 5v to give a relatively quite and cool system. So that is the Specs... as far as the case mod goes, I have made no cuts except on the inside dividers to allow room for the ATX Mobo. Pretty much everything is done except for what is listed below: NOT DONE: Rear I/O Ports and Front Firewire (NOTE: I have made up a cable for the front power button, usb and head phone, although jack sense does not work) Case Condition: Case is not in New condition but it is in better condition than most I see... No major scratches, however there are slight signs of ware and on the top near the back there are two small indents where the HDD Standoff's where attempted to be removed (See Picture) Here are some pictures: Extra Stuff: I can also included upon Buyers Request the following: Extra G5 Parts: Fans, Screws, Unused Deviders... etc Original Hardware Boxes from NewEgg (Extra Shipping) Now, the question you have all been waiting for, what's the price? Well I have put over $1,200.00 into this rig when all is said and done, not to mention over a month and a half modding the case. The Price: THIS ITEM IS SOLD AND NO LONGER AVAILABLE $745.00 OBO Plus Shipping (Shipping will be whatever is cheapest at the time of purchase) If you have ANY questions please feel free to PM me! NOTE: Due to the Guidelines set forth by InsanelyMac and the EULA set forth by Apple, I will NOT be providing any OS with this build! However an 8GB Thumb Drive with tools and instructions to create a working Mountain Lion Install Disk and all necessary Kexts, DSDT's and Other Fixes WILL be included.
  11. Hi, I've just got a iAtkos El Capitan image according with my hardware. I've installed it and it works, but I can't get Graphics Acceleration working. I've tried to disable the integrated graphic (Intel HD graphics 4600). I've also tried to install NVIDIA drivers for mac, but it still doesn't work. So, guys, do you have any idea about this? Thanks. PD: I'm a bit n00b in this area

How to get GTX 570 to run?

Hi, I have a 10.9.3 that works fine with my old GT 520 gpu. Today I bought a used GTX 570 for some Windows gaming, but OS X won't boot. I get a kernel panic. I tried installing the latest NVIDIA Web Driver and it didn't help. In fact, it made the installation not boot even with the GT 520. For the GT 520 I use "GraphicsEnabler=No". I tried that and also with 'Yes' instead, and couldn't get the 570 to boot. Not even with PCIRootUID=0. I am clueless. Please advise.

NVidia GTX 970 panic on shutdown

Hello everyone, I'm now working on my first (and somewhat accidental) Hackintosh. I just built my first PC and couldn't get along with Linux, so decided to try and install Mac OS X. So far, almost everything is working great, I have but one problem: Shutdown (or reboot) is rather abrupt and when I log back in, I get the message that my "Mac restarted because of a problem". The error report (see below) mentions a kernel panic. Although it is relatively minor inconvenience, this abrupt shutdown can't be good. I already had one really bad HFS+ corruption (but this could also be because of the Paragon HFS-drivers on the Windows side...). GTX 760 3mb VRAM?

I was hoping someone could help me out with an issue. I've got Yosemite running fine on my PC now, however the graphics are quite bad. There's extremely slow redraw, and sub HD resolution. About this Mac was listing my card(ASUS GTX 760 2GB) as having only 3mb VRAM. I've tried using GraphicsEnabler as a flag, as well as nvda_drv=1, I've installed the CUDA drivers, as well as the Retail drivers, which I'll include a link to at the end. Still, nothing has changed, except About this Mac now lists a GTX 760 with 0mb of VRAM. This is the last step to me getting my Hackintosh running beautifully. Help is appreciated. Specs if needed: CPU: AMD FX-6300 MoBo: Gigabyte 970A-D3 FD Graphics: ASUS GTX 760 2GB Installed on a Sandisk SSD Dual-booted with Windows Link to drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/80070/en-us

  16. Hi all, im really new to the hackintosh world and have done much reading and roaming around various forums and the posts submitted. I initially used the tonymacx86 uni & ###### to install Mountain Lion with alot of trial and error on my windows machine (on a seperate hard drive). Then I started having problems and stumbled onto your forums and read all about the the tensions between developers and tonymacx86 so decided to wipe mountain lion off and start from scratch using your forums guide lines. *Touchwood* i've managed to install Mountain Lion again without a DSDT (non available for my motherboard) from this site or any other and have managed to get my lan working with a kext file from another forum. Please could SOMEONE help me with the problems im having... 1> Whenever I watch a video on YouTube, the video plays for 5-10 seconds and then freezes and does NOT continue to play (vlc works fine), 2> How would I get audio to work with my GTX480 (hdmi to monitor) as my soundcard Asus Xonar Hdav Deluxe is not supported, 3> When I boot into OS X my computer freezes for like 5-8 mins before loading into Mountain Lion OS X. 4> Please does ANYONE have an DSDT for Asus Rampage II Extreme on ANY bios revisions? PLEASE could someone help me as I'm nearly there with the install. System Spec Asus rampage II Extreme Intel i7 920 D0 Corsair XMS3 6gig memory GTX480. Many Thanks and Kind Regards

  18. Greetings! I've been wrestling with this build for about a week now and have it near golden, but I am struggling with the Nvidia graphics card; I purchased the GeForce Gtx 1060 6GB SSC because is was recommended as the go-to card by the TonyMacx86 community on all of their Customac builds, but there doesn't seem to be much support for the card itself. I understand that Nvidia web drivers are relatively new and come with their own issues but I am reaching out to see if anyone has managed to squash these bugs. GTX 580 Mountain Lion VS Windows

Hi Forum, Recently i have changed my Quadro 4000 graphic card with a GTX 580. I use Element 3D plugin with After Effects. I have tried Element 3D plugin on windows and Mountain Lion 10.8.3. Windows performance was way better than OSX. Element 3D uses OpenGL. Windows 7 supports newer version of openGL. Is this performance gap because of OpenGL version or i did something wrong with OSX or my DSDT ? Any help will be appreciated Thanks! I used GraphicsEnabler=Yes Here is my system profile. 21. Installed with Lion 10.7.2. My graphic card is Palit 560 Ti 1Gb. Everything works nicely except I couldn't get my 2 monitor to work. I've followed the guide to enable 5xx card and now I can set it to the highest resolution, but my 2nd monitor is unusable. My first monitor connected with DVI/DVI cable and so does the 2nd monitor. If I change the 2nd DVI/HDMI or VGA/VGA or VGA/DVI dongle, both of my display will be blank, until I unplugged the cable for the 2nd monitor, and the primary display will be available again. I've search through this forum and also tonymac, none has work so far for me. If anyone could suggest me something, I'm glad to hear. PS: I followed this guide and also this one which almost just the same, and both producing the same result. And I didn't use the ATY thingy as I figure I don't need it since my card is detected, just the display port are the one causing the problem. Thank you!

    GTX 660 Issue (Yosemite 10.10.2)

Hi. I've downloaded the latest version of the Nvidia Quadro driver for my Nvidia GTX 660. It's working fine except: -The font is "pixeld" (low quality). -When I play any game, the brightness is so low and my FPS is useless. This has been working before like a charm. Got no idea what 2 do. Any tips? Cheers.
  23. I have seen successful installation of El Capitan on z170x g7 with skylake but I cannot manage to setup final my hackintosh after fresh installation of El Capitan. My build: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming G1, Socket 1151 Bios F6 GTX Titan X 12 gb 64gb Geil Dragon Ram (16gbx4) i7-6700k 4.0 ghz Skylake 3TB Seagate Sata Accomplishments: Configured the bios to make El Capitan USB Installer bootable from scratch. Able to create bootable usb using Clover Patch kext but I don't know which ones are important and/or necessary Able to boot from the HD with El Capitan with usb Working Audio Working USB, 3.0 not checked Bluetooth works Problems: Display is showing but in lowest resolution (so slow) Wifi not working I have no proper DSDT, AML for my mobo. Don't know which set of kexts would be appropriate and necessary. Anyone, please help. Attachment of their dsdt and kexts for the same would be appreciated. I'm just an average user of hackintosh. Please give me a guide, thanks. Note: I have successfully installed El Capitan in my old build: Gigabyte EP35-DS3R, QuadCore 775 Intel 2.5ghz, 8gb ram, 80gb seagate, msi 9600gt with no problems and all are working.
  24. Hi everyone, I recently assembled my new pc composed by: - MSI H97 gaming 3 - Intel i5 4690 @ 3,5 gHz - Samsung 850 evo 256GB - WD Caviar Green 1TB - Galax GTX 970 Black Edition 4GB I would be happy to install mac os on it, i need it. Before I buy it on the net they told me it could be compatible(-.-). I tried to install Yosemite and also El capitan. The bios settings should be correct, to boot installation I used these flags in many different combos: -v -x -f nv_enabler=1 npci=0x2000 GraphicsMode=Yes GraphicsMode=No PCIRootUID=0 PCIRootUID=1 maxmem=4096 cpus=1 Results: -Yosemite "Clean"(with Clover) - It gives me "misssing bluetooth controller" error and then freeze -Yosemite-Zone.dmg - After a lot of tries, it starts installation, but after 2 minutes (11 to finish) they crash with "Essential.pkg" error. -El Capitan(with clover) - When I boot usb pen it starts Windows, bios try to boot, but after skip the pen. Tried in UEFI and in legacy. I'm desperated, I don't know what I have to try! Someone can help me? Sorry for my easy english and thanks for the time.
