I have been testing with some country codes.

Normally I should be using GB as I'm in the UK but that limits the card to 400Mbit, when using US as a country code I get the full 867Mbit.

It all works now, just need to fiddle some more to get HandOff working, so I'm happy ;-)

Hi!

I'm trying to enable my azurewave AW-CE123H (Broadcom 4352).
I have followed the #1 post guide and my system recognize wifi card and bluetooth, but I cannot scan.

I'm running Yosemite 10.10.4, I used the wireless_bcm94352-100-v3.0b.command with option 3 and CC IT.

Someone can help me?

I'm a little confused.
For recognize correctly the wifi I need to follow which guide?
I have followed BCM94352 5 GHz/BT Handoff Patch (10.10 and newer) guide.

- Installed kext/binary patch using Patch 3 (Handoff/BCM94352/Country Code) with Country code IT

Then:

- Installed All patches for Clover using config-bcm94352-103.plist.zip
-- 5GHz:

  1. BCM94352-5GHz-US-FCC-dv

-- BCM94352-Airport-Extreme

-- BT4LE-Handoff-Hotspot

EDIT:

I have followed the #229 guide and Finded the IT code:

Custom IT BCM94352 5 GHz (>10.10.3)
Name AirPortBrcm4360
Find 41 83 FC FF 74 2C 48
Replace 66 C7 06 49 54 EB 2B

Replaced to the US-FCC clover patch.

After reboot nothing changed. Wifi not recognized, bluetooth recognized but no scan.

ps. I have updated ioreg.

Wifi not recognized, bluetooth recognized but no scan.

Did not enable WiFi

Try FakePCIID for BCM94352.

or CLOVER/config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/FixAirport

Did not enable BT

Post #1/BCM94352 BT (10.10 and newer, 10.9 and newer)

Try BrcmPatchRAM.kext

Using FakePCIID_BCM94352Z_as_BCM94360CS2.kext wifi was recognized. But unknown locale.
Now wifi scan work, but only with 2,4 GHz and very low range. I can't connect to the wifi network showed in the picture.

For Bluetooth I'm using BrcmPatchRAM.kext and BTFirmwareUploader.kext, but it doesn't scan.

I have attached my current configuration. Orange tag for new kext, Green tag for old kext (not touched) and yellow tag for HWMonitor kexts.

5 GHz channels available. Unknown, no idea what it should be.

Two BT kexts, ensures neither work. Remove BTFirmwareUploader.kext

Wifi not working, I created an hotspot with my smartphone and when I try to connect Diagnostic Tool advise me that It can't.
I have attached a full diagnostic for the problem. I don't know if this can be useful.

US with FCC locale can't be used instead of my current country locale?

For bluetooth: Once removed BTFirmwareUploader.kext nothing changed.

System recognize it, but I cannot see any devices.
Maybe I need to modify the BrcmPatchRAM.kext, because I have a strange Bluetooth PID: 0x3411  ??

Hello,

I use OSX 10.9.4 and an Atheros 9280. It works under OSX 10.6.8, but not under OSX 10.9.4. I already set the regdomain to 3A using HCU.exe (ETSI1, europe, DE).... But still the country locale is not set under OSX 10.9.4, only under OSX 10.6.8 it is set to DE.  What can I do here now?  Athreros40 is loaded, and bluetooth works, too!

Thanks for help!

Not sure what a smartphone hotspot shows you.

CC ensure RF compliance with local regulations, some US/FCC frequencies are not legal in your CC.  Suggestion, check Locale on native hardware.

Verify your device id is present in BrcmPatchRAM.kext

It works under OSX 10.6.8, but not under OSX 10.9.4.

Do not know what changed in 10.9.4.

Hi Toleda,

First off, thanks for your hard work, so I can enjoy my hanckintosh properly. I would like your help for the following question.

What I have:
  • 10.10.4
  • Clover
  • Asus Z97I-PLUS with built-in Asus version of the AzureWave AW-CE 123H (PID 6095 VID 2821)
  • I'm in Europe, Portugal ("PT" code)

What I need:
  • Wifi 2.4GHz/5GHz
  • BT 3.0/4.0
  • Handoff
  • AirDrop

Is this the right procedure (below)?

1. Download toledaARPT.kext from toleda/airport_pcie-hm
2. Download BrcmPatchRAM.kext from robvanoostenrijk/BrcmPatchRAM
3. Run kext installer for both
4. Reboot
5. Run wireless_bcm94352-100-v3.0b.command
5.1. Choose "Handoff only" option
6. Apply config-bcm94352-103.plist changes to clover plist
7. Reboot

I've gathered parts from .pdf files in your repo and from #1 instructions, but I got a little confused with all the options. Thanks!

1. toledaARPT.kex is deprecated, see Post #1, Airport Injection Methods

5.1 Chose option 3, Handoff/BCM94352/Country Code

Ok,

from there:

"Airport Injection Methods/see Repo

  1. kext enabler, FakePCIID for BCM94352.
    1. https://bitbucket.or....i-id/downloads
  2. kext edit/Info.plist, see [Guide]_airport_half-mini_plist_edits.pdf
  3. dsdt edits, [Guide]_airport_half-mini_dsdt_edits.pdf
  4. ssdt enabler, see airport_ssdt_enabler folder"

Only one method is required right? So from option 1, I would get the FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_BCM94352Z_as_BCM94360CS2.kext and install both.

Final procedure would be:

1. Download FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_BCM94352Z_as_BCM94360CS2.kext from RehabMan/os-x-fake-pci-id
2. Download BrcmPatchRAM.kext from robvanoostenrijk/BrcmPatchRAM
3. Run kext installer for 1 and 2
4. Reboot
5. Run wireless_bcm94352-100-v3.0b.command
5.1. Chose option 3, Handoff/BCM94352/Country Code
6. Apply config-bcm94352-103.plist changes to clover plist
7. Reboot
8. Configure wifi and bluetooth interfaces in system preferences\network

Thanks in advance. I hope this step-by-step to help not only me but others with the same card.

One or the other, not both. 5 patches cache, 6 patches the kext.

I have a question regarding to the 5G ac speed.

An  AW-CE123H using Clover with FAKEPCIID. Connection to 5G using ac is about 200Mbps and test speed is only 30Mbps.

However, in Windows, the connection speed can reach 867Mbps with test speed of 74Mbps(the package speed).

I've tested it with two different routers(both 1300Mbps 5G), but no difference.

Is that a problem or it's just normal? What can I do to improve it as the desktop and router won't be able to move?

No.  4352 is 2x, max 867 Mbps.  What antennas? What does System Information/Network/Wi-Fi or Menu Bar/Option/WiFi icon show?
