blog
Right on!!!!!!! Just got my Marvell Yukon 88E8038 PCI-E Fast Ethernet working on my Gateway MX3701 Core Duo Laptop (both cores working, super smooth performance). Much thanks to Killerz and iCrash for advice. Just to clarify for those who have the same chipset but cannot get working. Make sure u change the chipset ID in (Info.plist) to your chipset ID (like iCrash advised) (2 different places inside info.plist) besides the other changes. Now if I can only get this stubborn sound card SigmaTel 9200 (with strange SUBSYS ID. ) working . Tried all the Linux dumps available but no success. Tried to do own dump with Knoppix but can't even get dump info on my sound card inside Knoppix. GGrrrrrrr. Oh well, I have got USB speakers that provide me sound vis USB for now. Thanks again, Blog

Guest BuildSmart
Everyone who has a working gigabit, can you post your mobo/ethernet model and upload your modified info.plist file, I'm trying to put together an automated installation package so having the files will go a long way. Also alt66, what wifi do you have and what kext are you using?

Cheers, Keledai You should be able to see it under System Profile or something. There's a section to see the Static IP. Go to top left Apple > System Info > More info. One of them on the list. Sorry cant go into detail as i got my laptop fried.
