Negative! it is absolutely possible, not long ago Slice or Jief, I don't remember, he had written an alternative compilation option, and it works, in my X570 with catalin and XCODE 12.2 I use these commands:

git -f -f -d -x
./buildme XCODE8

Did you have to do anything to get it to work? My builds always fail.

use XCODE 12.2

terminal

cd cloverbootloader

git -f -f -d -x

select 10 enter

./buildme XCODE8

Hey,

Does anyone have issues with yesterday's AppleALC update?

I can't boot my Big Sur 11.0.1 USB installation stick with it (ASUS X299-A, Clover 5127 349e56a68).

Changing it back to the previous version and leaving other kexts updated resolves the issue.

Ei,

I was also having this problem with this latest version I returned to the previous one

Not sure if this helps, but I'm still on CLOVER r5122 and have no issues with Lilu 1.5.0, AppleALC 1.5.5 and WEG 1.4.5.  My config is as follows:

  • Catalina 10.15.7.03
  • CLOVER r5122 (UEFI)
  • OCQuirks.efi / OpenRuntime.efi
  • FakeSMC.kext and AppleALC.kext in /Library/Extensions (AppleALC.kext not in /E/C/k/O)

My complete config is here.

maybe I ask a stupid question or it has been discussed before but I can't find anything ... how do I make the recovery partition visible in clover? with F3 it doesn't show me this partition ...

Hi

Which macOS, which version of Clover? This information is needed to help you.

Mac os Big Sur and last clover build 5127 ...

Strange ! Which Big Sur Release 11.0.1 or 11.1 Beta 2 ?

Check via Terminal if you have a valid Recovery Partition. Anyway, Clover can't boot yet into Big Sur recovery partition.

@corint1 I just compiled r5127 the last commit 4af8a02: the recovery partition is displayed as since the commits of November 28. On the other hand, I hid the main partition to leave only the preboot. See the screenshot (the BS icon on the left is the USB key, beside Recovery there is BigSur's Preboot icon).

Do not put your Recovery partition into Hidden section of your config.plist, for the time being. It's just my opinion.

Is it possible to force to load the Big Sur installer with the Light theme, not the Dark?

I'm using the 'mlcamp' theme for Clover.

Just my opinion: you can force "Light" only for Embedded Clover's Theme, not for your custom theme "mlcamp" :) I think.
