agentej
I've created an USB following one of the guides of this forum. The problem is that when the load finishes, instead of the install screen, I get a black screen. I have a nVidia 240 GT with 1GB of memory, if that helps. Thank you very very much. agentej
I used this program http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=223205 I extracted my DSDT and then I searched for a patch for the Nvidia 240. I applied the patch, and it worked. But my Windows 8 install has messed up ( it doesn't boot now) and I can't boot into Mountain Lion ( I get a kernel panic about an extension I have to remove) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/281217-black-screen-on-install/#findComment-1839119 Share on other sites

Ufdah
Can you explain how you "patched" it? The link to the patch is just a portion of a DSDT file isn't it, not actually a patch you can run in the DSDT editor and patcher?
