  1. Black Screen on Install

cool, good news. can you share links to the patch or what software you used on windows for DSDT? hope installation on your comp goes well!
  2. Black Screen on Install

same card, same problem as agentej. sadness
  3. External (orange) HD icons vs Internal

    sweet, it worked great! thanks
  4. Gigabyte 965p-ds3 shutdown issues

i have the same MB and, therefore, problem with a vanilla install. SuperNet33, can you explain what this edits to make shutdown work? thanks for the patch and if you can shed some light on what the prob is!
  5. I might have to replace my GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3, something bad happened i guess. I switched around my hard drives and when I booted back up it said "searching hard disk for bios" with a ........... type progress bar. Then it rebooted and it won't even POST. If I can't sort out the problem, what's the best mobo for leopard at this point? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thx
  6. When is Leopard Going to Leak?

but the problem seemed to stem from identifying bits on the discs, linking them to whomever registered for them at wwdc. splitting the files into hundreds of pieces doesn't get rid of that data.
  7. Photoshop crash !

    (same here and here)
  8. CS3 won't run!

i also have this problem with the volume version, but not the design suite premium version (same here and here)
  9. here's a link to my setup i built over winter break http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=37161 i got it working fairly well after all the parts arrived and have been using it since. i used JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Int el.SSE2.SSE3 and pions mods for my motherboard. my video works, audio works, patched my network settings to get the wireless up, pretty much ok i do have some things keeping me from saying i am running at 100%. i want to have more hard drives on the SATAII0 (orange) ports but only one is recognized. i'm confused what hacks i would need to do for kexts, also what bios settings would be needed. (EDIT) got itunes authorization working, with this info last, something that happened recently. i'm not sure if it started after i upgraded to 10.4.9 or not, but now SNESx crashes my comp it just freezes completely. any advice about these issues is appreciated
  10. is it possible to use 1 SATA drive on the GSATAII0 (puprle) ports then 2 PATA-->SATA drives on the SATAII0 (orange) ports? wth settings should i use?
  11. i'm in the same situation, i get a bunch of the blocking bus messages, then diskarb and "waiting, will try again" msg. then it boots. i wish i could avoid that. also, i want to use two PATA-->SATA-converted drives on the orange ports, but it will only recognize one at a time
  12. edited: i used this mobo and JaS.10.4.8.SSE3.Intel.Only but couldn't get booted from the dvd. i then used JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Int el.SSE2.SSE3 with v1p ppf and it installed fine. (some things aren't recognized, so now i'm trying to work them out)
  13. ok, thanks, i'll see what it arrives then post info!
