How everyone, 

 

I am a longtime windows user and tech geek who decided to make this a hobby. I am probably the oldest person here lol. I have 20+ yrs of experience in PC and mobile phone troubleshooting and repair and once owned my own repair business. Just completed my very first Hackintosh recently through a lot of trial and error. Though it wasn’t easy, I had a blast doing it and felt a sense of accomplishment. Plus I finally am embracing the Apple ecosystem. I purchased my first iPhone after being a longtime android user. Looking forward to learning everything I can here.

Hello all,
not exactly a new user (my profile tells me I JOINED March 4, 2019  ^_^ ), but until now never posted!  :shock:

There was simply no reason to ever get active because of the awesome thread about the HP EliteDesk 800 G4 mini, where everything was already addressed when I came along to look for answers! A bit selfish maybe …
Now wanted to thank the thread-starter but found out I couldn't post!
So thanks to the forum as a whole for being such a great resource that allowed me to keep my machine running smoothly since the 1st install!

Built my first Hackintosh around five years ago, still have an '09 MBP, one of the last you could actually work on.

 

Current box is a Gigabyte Z390 Auros Ultra on Monterrey.  Will update OS one of these days.

 

A native of Chicago, but have lived in Austin, Texas for the past 25 years, Houston for 14 before that, after getting out of the service and realizing if I stayed south I wouldn't have to shovel snow anymore.  ;)
