kirasir
you're not getting multi outputs whilst using the Vervet FB? you have to keep in mind that as posted by Kabyl in hist first post, certain combinations of ports may not work. This is good, but what led Kabyl true for Windows and totally unsuitable for maс-driver. http://www.apple.com/ru/macpro/features/graphics.html Look here and think about the number, type and location of the output ports. toleda
5870/HDMI Audio/64 Bit After weeks of KPs, black screens and fans at full song over three different HD5XXX cards, the Sapphire Vapor X Overclocked HD 5870 works for me in Snow Leopard thanks to Kabyl's boater. No ROM files, no Framebuffers, No strings, just Graphics Enabler=Yes. The lspci follows and the ioreg file is attached. 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Unknown device [1002:6898] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: PC Partner Limited Unknown device [174b:e140] -- 01:00.1 Audio device [0403]: ATI Technologies Inc Unknown device [1002:aa50] Subsystem: PC Partner Limited Unknown device [174b:aa50] H55N_USB3_5870_HDMI.zip Fresh install of Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on the GA-H55N-USB3 mini ITX motherboard using tonymacx86's ##### ATI 5XXX-3 on the HDMI port. Installed the 10.6.4 and Graphics 1.0 Updates. Rebooted with ##### -3, installed the DSDT (with the HDMI edits from tmonkgol GFX0/HDAU), Chameleon RC5 Rev 516 and Kabyl's boot file. Ejected the ##### disc and rebooted with a fully enabled 5870. It boots from any port in either the 32 or 64 bit kernels and supports three displays. One problem, it boots with a display port to HDMI adapter, however, when the system goes to full resolution, the video signal disappears (could be the adapter). Since on board audio (ALC892) isn't supported in Snow Leopard, HDMI audio works perfectly. The Sound PrefPanel shows Built-in HDMI or Built-in DisplayPort audio output. sys_prof_graphics.tiff H55N_USB3_5870_HDMI.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/231768-ati-radeon-hd6000-hd5000-and-hd4000-series-support-in-chameleon/page/10/#findComment-1567444 Share on other sites

IMHERETOSTAY
Hi! I'm a cartri's bios user on an EP45-UD3P and I bought an ATI Branded HD5770 tonight... Popped it in my hackintosh and it booted without the need of anything else... BUT, I only get scores of 22 fps in cinebench and about 55seconds in smallluxGPU... Any idea why?? Will using the boot file in the thread solve my problems?? BTW, do I just have to replace my chameleon one and that's it or should modify my com.apple.Boot.plist?? Thanks a lot!! toleda
My HD 5870 is booting successfully with Kaybl's booter; Uakari is loaded automatically. When I enter AtiFb=Uakari at the boot prompt, my system gets to kernel DSMOS has arrived kernel ** Device in slot: SLOT--1 ** and freezes. There is nothing in the system log. The same problem occurs with each FrameBuffer name I've tried. Any suggestions?
