This time, when trying to flash the BIOS I am receiving the error "The file size does not match existing BIOS size!" Can anyone help? PS: Sorry for my English( Everything you need to boot and work is fakesmc and openhaltrestart kexts in EFI/Extra/Extensions Look my EFI-folder in attach (chnage EFI in com.apple.boot.plist to your own) VoodooHDA and skgeosx are in SLE sleep|wake and e-sata works, but looks like VIAATA has some troubles after wake. nicoxdev Posted July 11, 2011 Share Posted July 11, 2011 when i try to boot with the cd then i always get the cheksum failed error and press any key to retry.... i tried to download the 132mars cd two times but i always get the error... edit: ahh it works now if choosen the wrong dvd iso ;( so but now i got the problem of "Still waiting for root device error" i think this is because i got more than one harddrive in my pc i will disconnect all of them except one. but how can i use the other hardriver with the windows on it? or is this another error i already read about it and try to look at the jumpers im not shure if i got them on the back of my harddrive is there any other solution? edit2: ok maybe the error is because i activated the marvell controller... if i dissable the marvell controller then the pc can't locate the cd drive and dont start from it should i get another dvd drive? if yes wich one would you prefer? If your harddrive and install media is connected to the ICH10R, P5Q-E can install/boot Snow Leopard from a retail 10.6.3 DVD with only fakesmc.kext in /Extra/Extensions and npci=0x2000 in kernel flags in /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist. I can also boot into my 10.6.8 installation like this. I'm sure it will work on Lion too. Use the latest version of Chameleon 2.1. In the BIOS, set ICH10R to AHCI mode, enable ACPI 2.0 and all advanced CPU features, except CPUID Limit. Don't overclock while installing.
