The word is that Nvidia is out of Apple designs, starting with the Nehalem laptops and iMac type things. We are told the arrogance and bluster of Nvidia proposals were greeted with a response that, paraphrased, said, "Go away and don't come back for 3-4 years if you are still around as a company. Lose our number, and if you do call, we will laugh at you again."

excuse me. I like news.. but are you sure or that news is a typical trash gossip?

no.. I want to know.. because a couple of months ago there was the news of Apple that want to embrace MCP79 invidia chipset and leave forever Intel.. so instead reasoning impulsively with the belly, I like to think that it's normal to keep the foot in two shoes. It's normal to alternate and perhaps it's a strategy to move the market, to take suppliers to the throat. To let the price decrease and after a while declare to change brand.

But.. be quite.. my opinion is that are only rumors.

That's what it's being taken as now, a lot of websites aren't trusting this source, as well as the writer of this article has always had a little hissy fit with Nvidia I guess. I didn't state how I felt about this, negative or positive. :( So don't shoot the messenger.

Well Appleinsider just reported on the issue. Seems there is a court case from Intel against nVidia over nVidia's right to make logic board chipsets for any processor that has its own internal memory controller, like the 9400M. Of course if Intel wins this case, or refuses to license Nehalem chipsets to nVidia - it's over!
