Hmmm... Looks quite interesting, but why would Apple want to do that? 3 different versions of Snow Leopard would make things kind of complicated.

Dude, there is only 2 versions of Mac OS X available.... It exist from the times of when OS X first began.... Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server.... The idiot on that trulymac wordpress page only posted that one particular topic for his whole damn blog.... It means its a totally shady business rumor with no reliable source.... Plus anyone with decent photoshop skills can replicate the same image...

The guy is obviously trying to buy more viewers by making apple look like microsoft and the 6 expensive flavors of windows... In the ADC builds, there are only 2 version, OS X and server and we will see likewise only 2 flavors at point of release.... though i speculate that the price of snow leopard will be cheaper than that of leopard...

Similar rumors came out before Leopard (10.5) was released but didn't happen. I think Apple won't ever do that.

Well, there's going to be

- Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

- Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Family Pack

- Mac OS X 10.6 Server 10-Client

- Mac OS X 10.6 Server Unlimited Client

- Mac OS X 10.6 Server Upgrade 10-Client to Unlimited Client

plus the "Mac Box Set" and "Mac Box Set Family Pack".

Faaaaaaake!

Apple and industry pundits routinely make fun of redmond's 'a differrent windows for each day of the week' customer confusion strategy. There is no way they'd do this.

If they did though:

'Choose your favorite Snow Leopard?' As if! They never present customers with any advertising which is confusing, eg they don't make a poster "Choose your handheld: iPod Touch or iPhone"

DVD Covers? Really? The photoshop artist could have atleast photoshoped his design over any current shipping optical media based package, iLife, Leopard, iWork etc Apple never use DVD covers.

ok seriously for those who think this wont happen it will. Remember when everyone said the 5 usb mini mac was fake because of the image fragments. People we like 5 usb's not gonna happen it's suck a odd number and stupid. 3 versions of OSX... why? because Bill Gates is involved. and Bill gates likes to screw people, deep and hard. and what does it matter just get the Pro version, I am guessing Home and Pro and Server will differ with included apps. Maybe Pro comes with iLife and iWork, and it lets you pick Logic or Final Cut Express, it may just be extra apps included. Maybe you need pro to support RAID, it could be the smallest thing but would make sense. Even if it doesn't release exactly like the picture you never know, lol. I say whatever I am going to wait at least a year before I dig into the snow. I remember when Leopard first came out, lot's and lots of software returns at GC. There will be glitches up the ass and if you edit video or audio you will definitely see them. So I suggest when it does come out you get an illegal version and test it in VMWare or parallels. and make the transition when people say it's flawless or you feel your virtual version is flawless. But hey if you don't edit audio or video, get it when it comes out, we need test dummies and you have nothing to lose, where we have clients.

in a nut shell, despite the flaws of the picture, just expect it, and if this is what you fear in OS issues, you shouldn't be upgrading :-) thank you

- Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

- Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Family Pack

Only the licence file change between these versions :D

- Mac OS X 10.6 Server 10-Client

- Mac OS X 10.6 Server Unlimited Client

- Mac OS X 10.6 Server Upgrade 10-Client to Unlimited Client

Again, the only difference between these versions is the number of concurrently connected clients.

You can still compare to the

(choose your language among the 11 available ones) x (32bits or 64bits) x (6 versions for Windows 7 and 10 for Windows server ) x (OEM, upgrade, retail)

=> 1056 versions for Windows

    • Did you tried use ACPIBatteryManager.kext for the Battery? And for brightness you can use IntelBacklight  Both created by @RehabMan
    • I have put it into clover drivers 64uefi folder on Yosemite thru High Sierra which allows me to edit my High Sierra disk if needed in Yosemite system.   There is no functionality of apfs in other versions but it does allow other clover bootloaders and systems to recognize the HS apfs drive or open it for inspection.   If you don’t have it you can’t see your HS drive or access it in another macOS version.
    • Hi! Is it possible to get codec AD1981 running with AppleHDA on HP Compaq 8710w? It works nicely with VoodooHDA. Speakers and HP are switching automatically.  Internal and HP mic also work - no switching in SysPref but it works when mic is plugged in and internal mic works when hp mic is unplugged.   It has same weird pathmap - connected directly:  Playback: nid=5 [pin: Speaker (Analog)] | + <- nid=3 [audio output] [src: pcm] bindSeq=00008001 nid=6 [pin: Headphones (Grey Left)] | + <- nid=3 [audio output] [src: pcm] bindSeq=00008001   But inputs are really weird. There are 5 nodes from input to HP mic/Internal mic nid=4 [audio input] | + <- nid=21 [audio selector] [src: mix] bindSeq=00000003 | + <- nid=12 [audio mixer] [src: mix] bindSeq=00000003 | + <- nid=30 [audio selector] [src: mic] bindSeq=00000001 | + <- nid=8 [pin: Microphone (Grey Left)] [src: mic] bindSeq=00000001 + <- nid=31 [audio selector] [src: monitor] bindSeq=00000002 | + <- nid=24 [pin: Microphone (Analog)] [src: monitor] bindSeq=00000002 Can pathmap like that even work with AppleHDA? What codec should I patch? I tried patches from AD1984 but no luck.    These are manually patched verbs: 00571c10 00571d01 00571e17 00571f90 00570C02 00671c20 00671d10 00671e21 00671f03 00771cf0 00771d00 00771e00 00771f40 00871c30 00871d10 00871e81 00871f03 00971cf0 00971d00 00971e00 00971f40 00a71cf0 00a71d00 00a71e00 00a71f40 01671cf0 01671d00 01671e00 01671f40 01771cf0 01771d00 01771e00 01771f40 01871c40 01871d01 01871ea0 01871f90 01971cf0 01971d00 01971e00 01971f40   Codecgraph and linux codecdump attached. Thx for any help or suggestions.              codec.txt 2.svg codec.txt
    •   Yes, 'cause APFS log is coming before clover boot screen.
    • and you suspect apfs on before clover issues
