@Amit Meena

After the third or fourth installation, I found that my CPU was recognized as 505MHz so in the next try I checked the "Cpus=1-Fix" and now I have no crashes at all. Maybe that's the solution..Can someone tell me what exactly is that fix?

Update 1: Is it true that this fix causes Leopard to use only a single core? Is it harmful for the CPU?

excuse my bad english

I have a motherboard Gigabyte X48t-dq6 + q9550 + 4x2gb DDR3 1333MHz

Detail:

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Mother...ame=GA-X48T-DQ6

and would like help from you, because I am not here to install the 10.5.5 was in good plus to having this problem

in selecting what to install is this:

ICHX, ALC 889a, Jmicron, RT1000, kernel 10.5.6 (default)

I think I selected a few patches, I need help, in part, to patch / fix that I select for my motherboard.

could someone please help me the options I had to choose, not to panic here

Installation successful on my computer.

Vanilla Kernel, ICHx chipset patch, Ethernet R1000.

Reboot and shutdown OK (didn't try the sleep, don't need it on a desktop).

Only one issue : UI lag : the User Interface (and mouse cursor) freezes during one second about every minute or so, a lot more when one of the two displays is off or when in pivot mode (90° rotation)...

Same issue with iPC 10.5.6

Happens with NVdarwin, NVinject, NVkush, or EFI strings without kext.

Seems to have a connexion with iTunes/Quicktime...

Same thing here. If I open iTunes or Quicktime Player I get these small pauses every few seconds, visible as a slightly sticking mouse cursor. Some Googleing produced this fix:

As for the jumpy mouse, that is a product of OS 10.5.6 you can just rename the AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext via this command in a terminal window. Then restart and you should be all set. You can reverse the command at a later time to get it back.

sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext.BAK

Also sleep doesn't seem to work and sometimes shutdown doesn't either. Had none of these problems back when I was running 10.5.3 on Leo4all.

So can anyboy tell me if this distro has mcp67 support. Also it would be great if someone could get me a AR5007eg Wireless driver off the disk. From what i know the 5007eg doesnt work it would be great if someone could get it so i can check.

It claims to have MCP67 support, but I am having no luck at all with my presario v6500. (mcp67) No root device error, but it wont reconize my SATA controller - sigh - I dont think fait wants OS X on this laptop... anyone have any suggestions?

The loginwindow wallpaper is kept under /System/Library/CoreServices (if memory serves...).

I'll give it to you tomorrow...

After installation I get a message saying I have to restart by holding down the power button or by pressing the restart button...

I'm having a problems with the AMD Dual Core Timing Issue AKA Mouse Bug.

I've looked though this thread Here

It installed fine, booting OSX is fine but at random it seems I get this mouse bug.

After OS X loads the screen goes black then goes light blue then slowly the desktop tops and I can't move my mouse.

I chose NVinject 0.2.1 512mb, 9.5.0 voodoo kernel, AppleNForceATA chipset, azalia audio, broadcom wireless, seatbelt.kext during the install.

Anyone know of a remedy?

I had the same problem on iPC 10.5.6

Hi,

I'm going to try installing iDeneb v1.4 on an ASUS P5Q deluxe. I read the basic guide on how to install from the website. I just have one question:

My sound (AD2000B), Graphics (4850HD) and Network (Marvell 88E8001) do not have any drivers in the install package itself. i.e i'l have to manually add ktexts after installing iDeneb.

So apart from the Base Install I do not select anything else right?

Thanks.

yes, I burn it using imgburn very slowly at 1x. The installation is successed already but after restarting the os won't boot. It's stuck at darwin loading.. I try boot using verbose mode -v also cannot. there's only showing 4-5 lines text then stuck again.

This is my rig,

Acer Aspire 4530

Processor AMD Turion 64 X2 RM-74 2.2 GHz

RAM 2 GHz, HDD 250 GB, Graphics nVIDIA Geforce 9100M G

Sound Card Realtek XXX, Ethernet Broadcom, wirelesss Atheros

Hi Guys I'm a noob who has been playing with OSX86 for only 2-3 months but now have built my first Hackintosh using iDeneb.

I'm running on an older Gigabyte p31-ds3l mobo with 4GB DDR2, 3 SATA HDDs and a SATA DVD burner. I was initially getting a lot of minor issues with iPC (re-start/shu-down & TimeMachine issues - not show stoppers but bl**dy irritating all the same).

A clean install of ideneb has solved all these issues with only sound still being a pain. None of the ALC888 options on this distro worked for me and I had to do a lot of trawling of the IM forums to even get 2 channel sound working reliably.

So I guess I'm just wanting to say thanks and big, big kudos to all the guys behind iDeneb.

My old PC gets mothballed this weekend having now migrated all my mail, photo's, videos and documents to my Hackintosh. RESULT !!

PS - Other nervous Noob's - I was anxious enough to keep a small M$ Vista partitiion on the new box and set up dual boot options. However, VM Fusion V2 is highly recommended. 5 mins after installing, it had picked up the Vista disk as a bootcamp partition and was starting it as a virtual machine without any need for tweaking of the default settings. - Works perfectly (try full screen mode and see what I mean) and I am now so happy with it I have disabled the dual boot options and will only go direct to Vista for an occasional blast of Far Cry2
