Hi,

I've installed it on my desktop and it RULEZZZZZZZZZ!!! Now the question: I saw that at the end of the list in installation is Netbook MSI Wind U100...If I want to install it on MSI what should I select?Only this or something else too?

Thanks for the good job!!!

Hi all,

I tried to prepare an USB stick to install from. I used "Leopard install helper" (dd.exe), as described here, but after booting from the USB stick all I get is a screen with 4 or 5 lines of some random characters. The ISO I have is correct (checked md5). Unfortunately I don't have an external DVD drive to use (I use Acer Aspire One netbook).

Have any of you experienced such issues? How to solve it? How to install the iDeneb on AA1?

I've got exactly the same issue. I "burned" iso on the ocz rally 2 8gb and all I got was bunch of hex numbers and some }*!'s.

I'm trying this both on PC (AB9Pro) and MSI Wind with either ahci disabled or enabled. On Wind i'm trying this using pendrive, on PC - burned on DVD. Both ways brings the same results.

Any advice?

Success !!

Running Asus A6JC laptop! Everything seems nice and dandy except I didnt get QE working with NVinject Go 128 from the distro. Loaded NYC Coyote's modified kext and video plays really nice + dual monitor support!

Hi!

I have installed iDeneb 10.5.6 with Voodoo kernel and it acts the same as with iPC 10.5.6, every apps can not start. EXC_BAD_ADDRESS on all apps! In iDeneb 10.5.6 installation I used seatbelt fix Voodoo 9.6. Did not work.

Have also tried to install iDeneb with only IHCx driver and Vanilla kernel 9.6. Reboot direct in the beginning. Can no see even in -v verbose mode.

I have Gigabyte P35-DS4 v2.0, Nvidia 8800GTS 640Mb dev.id:0x0193. CPU Q6600 Quad core.

Audio ALC889, NIC Realtek R8111.

How shall I do to make vanilla kernel 9.6 work? Give some howto...

I still use iDeneb 10.5.5 on another disk. Still working great.

I realy want vanilla kernel to work.

My spec is Asus M2N-MX AMD 4200+ GeForce 8600GT 256/128, SATA HDD and SATA DVD-ROM...please reply to this post as I am kinda desperate because of this problem. Thanks.

PS: That motherboard has nForce 4 chipset

Here is the guide of Leopard HD Install helper. You can download attachment , and see english_gui.png in it.

NOTE: the files boot1h , boot_v8 , boot , CHAIN0 in the attachment are necessary , be sure they with the main program ddmac.exe at same folder.

I suggest you uncheck PC_EFI v8 when you use Leopard HD install helper dump ISO to your USB stick.

If it's still don't work , read this [HOW TO] Install OS X without CD/DVD drive, but with a USB stick

Good Luck!

Works fine on my Dell Precision 390.

- Intel Core 2 Quad 2,40 GHz

- 6 GB 667 MHz

- Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-115D + Philips DVD+/-RW DVD8801

- SATA HD : 500 GB + 750 GB

- Nvidia 8600 GT 512 MB

Tried this great release on a Acer Aspire One. Installation goes fine but boot hangs the screen. Music plays but the screen never comes back. Mouse pointer can be seen randomly. Any one has a tip on this? install does not work if bios is 3309 must be lower. Installed with AA1 selected as only customization.
