I came across this article and although I really don't know if this can help this scene, I was wondering if it would hurt anything as well.

It says they improved Mini-Display and HD performance. I personally don't really think anyone has need for the MINI-D but my laptop does have a HDMI out. As for the HD improvments.... every little bit helps.

Actual Link to the File

Apple Website

it also improves performance of hd playback on 7300Gt's and 9600M chips so, in other words it should help out any nvidia card.

link for all you who dont kno where to find it

Looks like you don't need it if you have the current drivers from these forums, tried launching it and it told me my computer does not need them. I'm running 10.5.6 with an evga 9600 gso 384mb.

That's because you have a hackintosh. Install it via Pacifist. G'day. :)

Downloadlink (Apple pulled the Updates so use it on your own Risk)

Assuming you are using Safari with default Downloadpath, type following in Terminal:

mkdir ~/Desktop/NVBackups && cp -R /System/Library/Extensions/NV* ~/Desktop/NVBackups && cp -R /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext ~/Desktop/NVBackups && sudo cp -R ~/Downloads/iHack13/*.kext /System/Library/Extensions && sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions && sudo chown -R 0:0 /System/Library/Extensions && sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

PROS: I can feel the performance gain on my nVidia Go 7400

CONS: It panics once in a day or two (see the post below)

I found it on MacUpdate. It contains AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext, NVDANV10Hal.kext thru NVDANV50Hal.kext, and NVDAResman.kext. I didn't do a detailed comparison yet, but they have the same dates and sizes as the original 10.5.6 versions of these kexts.

So far I don't notice any changes on my GeForce 9600 GT (enabled via EFI string). I still have QE/CI support. OpenGLExtensionsViewer reports nothing much has changed.

As I wrote here the update is available on the internet http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=149606

I solved one issues on my 9500gt regarding flashplayer content with firefox, some of this content made my screen flashing to black then I got back with a normal screen, but there was something wrong, with this update, I definetely have no problem to report at the moment.
