  1. Thats fair enough but arent effectively selling free software? and also i dont see where the have credited the chameleon team. Im not trying to start a flame war haha dont worry man it just seems odd that ive come across what looks like chameleon in their software! no harm meant
  2. Im not sure how id do that, though it seems very strange, why would they have ignore caches? or video info? or identical icons? all theyve done is swapped their image?
  3. Ok Dudes, im not sure if ive missed the boat, but i couldnt find anything on this. Can someone please explain to me whether im wrong or have parallels stolen the chameleon bootloader? flash

D-Link DWA-547 with Atheros 5008 will not work

Can you please try removing the hpet option from your dsdt and see if it then picks up the card? Apparently this helps. Also does it work in leopard for you? Ive got a very pissed off person i'm trying to help getting it to work because alot of people claim to have this card working but then say nothing else. 32bit is clearly not the only thing that makes it work. flash
  5. Umm are you in 32 bit mode? what bootloader and which boot flags
  6. Based on this post i bought a DWA-547, It is not detected in either 64 bit obviously or 32 bit. abit miffed really. Is there anything anyone can do to help point me in the right direction, do i need to add device id's some where or what? flash

Having the same issues with this card. Will not load in 10.6 in either 64 bit or 32 bit. If anyone finds any fix, then let me know the card revision is A2. flash

    Boot132 cdboot for Snow Leopard

Hey dude, you have to put your res in there aka <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1680x1050x32</string> just replace the 1680x1050 with you own max res flash

    Boot132 cdboot for Snow Leopard

Hi everyone that has replied so far, thanks for the support on this, im glad its working for the majority of the crowd. You have to remember that there maybe issues with this as this is by no emans an official chameleon release, and there are probably bugs in it that thyre working out. the disk is definately working on gigabyte boards. Im on an EP45-DS3 and it got me to the installer first time i used it. Ill try to help figure out a solution. flash

    Boot132 cdboot for Snow Leopard

hi kde, now look, im not trying to start an argument. my boot cd is different from yours, and yours might work well for you, but i had no luck with it so i had to preceed finding another method. and this is an unreleased build of chameleon cdboot, which i happened to stumble across. This is the only method of booting the retail disk that has worked for me, and it worked straight away. im not calling you a liar. Our disks are however different, and i certainly didnt steal anything from you. All i want is to help this community out because theyve given me so much over the last couple of years. Glad u got in to SL man! good job! flash
