core2taurus Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 Hey BlackCH, I have the Asus P5N-D with the infamous nforce chip set. I am getting the SAM:Multimeda READ and WRITE error. I have a Sata Dvd rom drive and a IDE DVD rom drive. I used the IDE DVD drive for the install. I am going to assume it has something to do with the nforce drivers. I know when i install leo4all v3 i have no issues at all. I have a work around for myself. But just wanted to know if i was on the right track with the error. Thanks Eric Note: I forgot to mention after that error it gives me the nfs_init_boot failed with 6 error. Im guessing its trying to boot from a network?
