sepulchre, you have been a great help!

Also, I'm not sure if you figured out how to get the other things on your board working.

I'm using NVKush drivers instead of NVinject ones and I have no problem restarting/shutting down.

Hope that helps!

No problem fella, I was only re-iterating what I leanrt here from other good folk :)

Can you tell me where you got the NVKush driver from, what gfx car your using and how you went about installing them i.e. did you remove the NVinject drivers first (if you isntalled them) cheers!

This is a very good release, I had no problem installing iDeneb v1 on a Dell Inspiron 530s

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core e2180 2.0 GHz

Memory: 2 GB DDR2 800

Audio: ALC888 working

Wireless: Asus WL-138G_v2 PCI working (Broadcom kext)

SATA HDD & DVD

Graphics: ATI 2400 Pro PCIE : only 1024x768 resolution, no CI/QE

Kernel 9.2.0 Speedstep

Many thanks to Layne (Punk92) and all the OSx86 developers

Just did a second clean install and boy am I happy.

Right off the bat, everything works perfectly.

7600GT 256MB had to be patched with NVKush separately to avoid power off and reboot issues.

But network and sound (Azailia) = 100% working perfectly.

Also, I used the Vanilla kernel included.

So happy!

BTW, does anyone know how I can skin it back to the standard OS X logos and wallpapers?

No offense iDeneb, but I would prefer the authentic look of the regular OS.

Thanks again!

This is extremely good excellent release. Works like a charm on my ACER Aspire WXMi 5562 without modifying anything, Lan works, wireless works, software updates works. Specs: Intel core duo 1.66 mhz, ati mobility x1600, 160gig hd 7200 rpm, broadcom 169d lan, intel wireless. The only downside is the is the video which is not giving me my max resolution of 1280 x 800.

Cheers!

For me iDeneb is one of the best OSX86 i ever install on my Compaq Presario C767TU laptop..

But my biggest problem now is i can't see/access my optical drive.

Optical Drive: TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L632H, DVD writer dual layer

Anyone can help me about this?

:thumbsup_anim:^_^

my optical drive is now recognized.

i made a reinstallation and instal the drivers chipset..

my mouse and keyboard aren't working during installation, so i can't install..

Try disabling legacy support in your computer's bios before you start the install process.

This might work since it's worked to help get certain ports working on my comp.

Again, this will only help if your mouse keyboard is usb powered.

Hi,

I have an Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network adapter. It didn`t work with Kalyway neither with iAtkos. Will it work with this iDeneb realese? If yes, what should I do to make it work?

i also have that kind of wifi adapter..

what i did is i bought a cheap wifi usb adapter compatible w/ mac os x86..

My problem now is my built-in audio,, its a Conexant HD-Audio SmartAudio 221..

and also the built-in Webcam.

Other than this, all are working good.

I have an older Dell 9300 with Pentium-M (SSE2). I would love to get iDeneb working on this machine ... does anyone know what I need to do to get it working?

Are there special flags or kernels I need to try to boot the installer as SSE2?

Thanks!

iDeneb 10.5.4 is really great. Excellent I must say (and don't know why there is so much hate to do release when punk giave thansk to everybody...)

But for some reason, I can get my sound working when I had it on Kalyway 10.5.2....

HERE can find the kexts I used and worked out of the box in Kalyway. Someone could help please?

I was wondering if anyone could help me out; I'm trying to install this DVD but when I try to load the DVD, it just won't load. You know how you see the cursor rotate? Well, it'll rotate maybe twice...then it'll just stop and the dvd won't load.

Could it possibly be a bad iso?

Let me know your thoughts, I'm anxious to get this working.
