Finally felt confident enough to wipe out my FF 2 install (after backing it up of course) and use 3 all the time. Was having some stability issues with all the betas and initial RCs that seem to be gone now. Happy camper. In OS X, it came a long way since FX2 and is technically better than Safari/Webkit due to its features, but I still like and use Safari/Webkit because if its speed, nativeness and integration into the OS. Whilst FF 3 is much faster than FF 2, Safari is noticeably faster on my Powerbook. I used to be a real Camino zealot, but they just haven't kept up. Very fast, and not ugly (I'm looking at you, Opera). Loccy Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 I've used Camino for ages. Tried Firefox 3, didn't like it, it just didn't seem "right" to me. Never noticed any speed degredation between Camino and FF3 (or Safari, for that matter). And the memory footprint of FF is huge in comparison to Camino.
