Well, he terms it a "flash drive with a quick connector" that could very likely cover every flash drive ever made. However, the iPod dock comes from 2003 one year before his patent was filed. That iPod with the first dock connector, though, is a hard drive based model and not a flash model. So does this guy have a claim or this a frivolous lawsuit? I guess only time will tell. By then, Apple already had the 3G iPod, 4G iPod, and iPod mini using it. I'd say that qualifies as "prior use."
