Hi all translators,You can help us to translate the Chameleon Project. You need to have gettext utilities installed. You can install them :* With MacPorts or Finkor* With the package http://dl.dropbox.com/u/112112/Chameleon.Dev/gettext-0.18.1.1.dmgYou need to change your ~/.bashrc or ~/.bash_profile to add the path to the utilities:# MacPorts Installer: adding an appropriate PATH variable for use with MacPorts.export PATH=/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:$PATH# Finished adapting your PATH environment variable for use with MacPorts.# MacPorts Installer: adding an appropriate MANPATH variable for use with MacPorts.export MANPATH=/opt/local/share/man:$MANPATH# Finished adapting your MANPATH environment variable for use with MacPorts. You must also have a PO editor like Poedit: http://www.poedit.net/download.phpThe files to translate are in package/po directory. Open them with your PO editor and translate <img src='http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />.If you want to add a new language copy the package/po/chameleon.pot to po/$lang.po where $lang isthe new language you want to add. Example to add belgian language:# cp package/po/chameleon.pot package/po/be.poNow you can start translating the new po file with your PO editor

Pls translate/complete it.

ErmaC, Why does trunk 2399 doesnt include the yosemite patches? I know where the diff is, just asking.

BTW your 2399 package now works on my older machine, was not working and had to use 2381.

Thanks :)

The only difference between the SVN trunk and this pre-compiled binaries is the Yosemite and his related stuff...

The source/diff will be merged when the new OS X will be officially out.

as I always do in the past.. (see mavericks as ex)

For the USB Installer; Yes its need !

Image

Ahhh I understand you now!

The folder /System/Library/Kernels does not exist....unless you do not create it...and then you copy the kernel inside.. (on a USB Stick just restored).

The kernel obviously has to be extracted, otherwise it will not even available...

You do not do this thing?

I have issue on Sandy bridge, causes KP on AppleEFINVRAM, was working on 2381. but the rest of my computer which has IVY and Haswell are OK.

To make it more clearer...

I have 2 identical board which has Sandy & IVY on it. The board with the Sandy panics on AppleEFINVRAM while the board with IVY does not.

You are able to boot in -x? What OS in this motherboard, and what's your exactly CPU model? I know ErmaC has added some CPU ..better investigate

Thank you for asking about the OS, this only happens on SL. the board with a sandy has SL, when i swapped the HD with Maverick & Yose, no panic on AppleEFINVRAM.

booting -x on SL didnt help. Could it still be considered a bug even SL is old? I beleive yes and should be fix.

Thanks.

Follow up: i compiled source from trunk 2399 (without Yosemite source) and i have no issue on AppleEFINVRAM.

so i think the problem is in the unrelease diff of Yosemite

this can be really no longer needed...anymore

Actually, it is needed. Two days ago manually created Yosemite GM1 install flash drive with the latest version r2401. Chameleon initially didn't find the kernel in /System/Library/Kernels and found it only when I added the Kernel key in org.chameleon.boot.plist (pointing to /System/Library/Kernels). It seems that without the Kernel key, present and set in org.chameleon.boot.plist, Chameleon r2401 still looks for the kernel only in the root folder, named as mach_kernel.
