I run Monterey on my MacPro5,1 without OCLP. You do not need OCLP .... just OpenCore. Try configuring OpenCore manually as described here. You can find preconfigured Opencore configs in a related thread here if you have an AMD GPU. Once you have that running, you can then add your firewire driver to that config. Ask in those threads where others may have already used the same external firewire audio card.

Hi yes they are FireWire driver for the Mytek 8x192 card. In Monterey standard ( no open core ) the driver works.i re try to check all the field in the security tab in open core patcher ok? Is it what you mean ?

HI I'm sure there are more prepared people here that can help you but (just to try) I found an EFI that helped me to boot monterey on ASUS P8Z77-V LX2 but as you know it's a 1155 socket. Even if I use Clover I had to relate to OC to boot this Asus mobo and it worked. I don't know if it can help maybe modifying something for your system. Check if it makes any sense to try and in case I'll share it. Ciao

I think I borked something in my BIOS/UEFI because after using both of the SSDT-TPD0, i receive the same ioreg and dmesg as before with the transaction error. I'll have to reset by bios and redo my dvmt and MSR settings and then try again, i believe i modified some i2c setting by mistake. Dell makes it so hard to reach the disconnect cable for the bios battery.

@Mastachief Try using SSDT-TPD0.aml attached below. I tried modifying SSCN and FMCN corresponding to the I2C Bus Speed variable. If that doesn't work, try using SSDT-TPD0-2.aml.
