Im running Kalyway 10.5.3 on a gateway gt5012 and the sound card is an intel Sigmatel 9220 audio codec... I installed the patcher and it did not work... in sys pref it says that there is no built in audio.... Any ideas on what else I could do to get my audio working for at least the output

This doesn`t work on my Realtek HD ALC861.System is iAtkos v7 10.5.7!!Any suggestions??

Not that I have a Realtek HD, but I am having sound issues on iatkops v7 10.5.7 as well. All I know about my sound card is that it's 16-bit sound blaster pro compatible .. w.. with harmon kardon speakers... incase your asking this is a HP zv5240us.

Also, the OS doesn't even detect a sound card.

Hi,

I have a driver for Realtek, Sigmatel, Cmedia, Analog Devices (SoundMAX) and Conexant.

I have a SoundMAX (Analog Devices) card and it works perfectly.

I am running Mac OS X 10.4.8 (Tiger).

Please comment if it works.

All you have to do is download the attatchment. Unzip it and install it.

It got my SoundMAX card working with mac.

Thanks, Machead

Hi,

I installed this but it's only made things worse. I did get output from inbuilt speakers and from headphones by switching in System Preferences > Sound. Now I can only get it out of the inbuilt speaker. Anybody know how I can remove this driver I just installed?

Thanks.

Well hello everyone. I'm new in this kind of forum. So excuse for my soon silly questions :D

Yesterday I've tried to install OS X from iDeneb 10.5.7 by myself and with a little help from experienced user friend tough I have to get another VGA card related to undetectable issue, because of my 4670 Radeon VGA series in iDeneb. Okay, below, these are my questions..

Case1

The problem is sound/speaker, it get buzzy sound or scracth sound from my speaker, whether I play my songs in iTunes or just system interface sounds..

I've tried to open system preference > audio and the damn display showed these things..

(and then. hang off :D )

Case2

I've tried to open user manual of my motherboard, and get nothing about sound chipset information. How do I'll get such a sound chipset information? And what the benefit of this kind of info?

But I opened my PC Wizard yesterday, and found these data below:

Device Audio : ATI Technologies SB600 High Definition Audio Controller

Device Audio : ATI Technologies R700 Audio Device [Radeon HD 4000 Series]

Audio Playback : IDT Audio1

Audio Playback : IDT Audio2

Audio Playback : Microsoft Sound Mapper

Audio Recording : IDT Audio

Any good solutions?. Need help :D :D :D
