The Real Deal
Applied. Strange thing, AppleLPC.kext didn't load despite 3a18 ID LPC device is injected via my DSDT. Real LPC ID is 3a16 on my board, dirty hack on AppleLPC to inject this one. It works, temperatures came back 10°C cooler but i don't like this solution. And to finish, AppleACPIPlatform rollback + AppleHDA to patch.

Will this be the latest (big) update till 10.9 comes out? Great news. Is that on 10.8.5? I'm still running on 10.8.4 with nvidia web drivers. Hi dan542, Yes, I also have freezes. They occur less often, but still random. They are less on the MacPro4,1 model for some reason (as also noted by you). Sometimes I can 'play' for hours without any freezes. Sometimes I have freezes every 10min. When I posted that it was working, it really did a week without any freezes. Now the freezes are back again: they where never gone. PS. I'm using the latest nVidia drivers on 10.8.4. For some reason nVidia also things PM isn't needed: the GPU is always at the highest state :S

beta992
Every new update brings new and better stuff. I just hope all updates will be good for the Hackintosh Community. I read some things about blacklisting and kexts/app signing. Yeah, you want to have the most secured OS on the planet, but please don't tell users that they are not allowed to do this and that and no if you want this, you will need to install this first and you must agree that it is at your own risk, we don't protect you anymore because you enabled that you want to install from non-secure places, bla bla... Sorry..

mnfesq
Has anyone else lost Bluetooth functionality with 10.8.5 ver. 12F13? I have the Broadcom 2070 chip. It shows up in IORegistryExplorer but it is not functioning. When I roll-back to the 10.8.4 IOBluetoothFamily.kext, it works. I've tried to see what differences there are between the Broadcom plugin for each version and it seems like the 10.8.5 kext supports more types of Bluetooth controllers than the 10.8.4 version. I'm stumped.
