  1. [pre-release] macOS Sierra 10.12.1

This bcrm4360 card is present and native for many late mac models hence has inbuilt kext in the IO80211Family.kext. Proof of it is in Sierra install usb during first screen showing wifi support. Anyway, there will tomorrow.
  2. [pre-release] macOS Sierra 10.12.1

I just installed 10.12.1 Beta the second time thinking there may have been some slip-up the first time around, although the process was completely automated. Well, the second fresh install(upgrade) produces the same error. The error is my wifi is broken. It shows as no hardware installed. It is the combo wifi/bluetooth chipset from Broadcom bcrm4360. This card works flawlessly on all previous iterations of OSX and Sierra. It works in Windows. The funny thing is the bluetooth half (a different chip) of the card works. So I revert back to Sierra the second time. Anyone has the same problem with bcrm4360? To clarify, this is a hack. My mac mini 2011 has much older wifi chipset so it has no issue.
  3. [pre-releases] macOS Sierra

OK, how do I change to iMac14,2? Mine is at 12,1
  4. [pre-releases] macOS Sierra

DP1 worked fine. DP2 boots to black screen. Public beta does not boot to black screen. All kexts are vanilla, from wifi to bluetooth. Video is GTX460. Funny thing is even in public beta, it asks to upgrade to DP2 Recovery HD Update 1.0. After update, black screen again. Update: Restore from TM back to public beta and got screen again. Update DP2 shows up, so updated again. Black screen again. Clover35089 and 3590, makes no difference. Pulled out the GTX460 and put in AMD5770. Booted with screen! At this point, I have no idea if it's DP2 that excluded the GTX460 or Clover, because I had black screen at DP1 on older Clover prior 3589. Let's hope some smart people figure this out.
  5. OS X El Capitan 10.11 is out ...

    menu meters works?
  6. OS X El Capitan 10.11 is out ...

I hope Disk Utility would bring back RAID setup in GUI.
  7. [pre-release] OS X El Capitan 10.11.1

Any sign of bring back functionality of disk utility that users can do RAID at boot up?
  8. there are plenty of broadcom bcm4360cd+bluetooth on Amazon. For 10.10.5, it works OOTB. But when switching to Windows, things get dicey. It needs bootcamp 5.1.5640, which contains all relevant drivers for Windows 10.
  9. [pre-release] OS X El Capitan 10.11.1

Same problem with disk utilities as in previous dev builds, in which I cannot set up or modify RAID volumes. Even when selecting existing RAID volumes set up Yosemite, journaling is not enabled. What's up with that?
  10. OS X Yosemite available today...

Probably be the same as GM3, no?
  11. OS X Yosemite available today...

    No see on AppStore yet!
  12. OS X Yosemite DP's builds!

Update: I went in IO80211Family.kext and edited both 4311 and 43224, adding brcm4329. Repaired permissions and rebooted. Everything is fine now. Thank you very much
  13. OS X Yosemite DP's builds!

I did try that once in DP8, and after repairing permission, it popped up as Airport. Yet this time around, it did not work. I am going to try again and probably with the new FakeSMC for Yosemite. Thank you v\for the vote of confidence. I will post if succeed.
  14. OS X Yosemite DP's builds!

Since the last DPs and now GM, my Broadcom brcm4329 (WiFi) has not worked. Does anyone know how to activate this card? I used to activation script for all all the versions up to 10.9 and get result every single time, but with 10.10, I am at the end of my wit. Please help!
  15. Yosemite Open Beta

Anyone having trouble with Broadcom brcm4329, or AppleHDA patched for ALC888? Thank you.
