Funny I thought there was a post here on using Revoboot and geting better performance? To answer for my hardware...there is no lag on my GUI at all.
And my cinebench without Chimera is higher on my HD4850 hitting about 43fps using a lower version of Chameleon. I'm planning on trying the new Chameleon as its showing the "boot" has changed to include support for this cards ID.
Thats a heck of an overclock! Is that with turbo or is that all cores without any SSDT-P or you using NullPowerManagement kext? Was thinking about swapping board/chip but really use my computer for rendering in Autodesk mental ray. If I get V-ray up(cpu+gpu) and my GTX570 running CUDA then a Sandy Bridge like yours would be a reasonable upgrade.

So, the UI lag is now gone, quicktime videos are playing as expected now.
I believe chimera from 1.4+ has the GraphicsEnabler auto-detection.
The OC is set to 48 in UEFI on the manual max ratio setting with an offset of 0,010v, to make it run @ 1.3v on full load, ran prime95 for 12 hours, no errors/bsods. I'd guess that's the max turbo ratio, prior to setting that multiplier i would only get 3.4ghz (100mhz more) on default settings. Temp wise it gets a bit hot at full load on prolonged times, like 75C but still within safe values i think.
Running SSDT_PR with 6 turbo states and speedstepper with vanilla AICPUPM but only getting 2 p-states (16 and 48) because it doesn't work on lion imac12,2 yet or so i read.

Feel free to edit http://sourceforge.n...20.dmg/download GeForceGLDriver.bundle
Info instructions: http://netkas.org/?p=794
OLD 10.7.2 edits

To clarify : Here is the difference of the EDITS below is the 10.7.3 original and with the edit by changing the 02 to 03 theres 2 places.
line# 00016540:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
line# 25D140:
Right click on GeForceGLDriver.bundle Show Package Contents then go over to GeForceGLDriver and drag to Hex Edit

A little boost in score on a clean install of Lion with added combo update 10.7.3 using GeForceGLDriver.bundle 10.7.3

IMO, there was an iMac using an intel gulftown i7 2.66 and thats exactly the CPU currently in the machine so ... figure with the HD4850 its almost a clone. back a year or so.
You can play with:
<key>SMproductname</key>
<string>iMac11,2</string>
<key>SMfamily</key>
<string>iMac</string>
In certain cases you might need to also make changes elsewhere or the adjustment in your smbios.plist will give you kernel panic.
Back up and tinker with caution.
Cinebench score the same, Will play around with Mountain Lion soon just haven't had time.

IVe done everything you mention in the guide however I get nearly half your FPS in Cinebench. I have a core i7 990x, Gigabyte x58 UD7 and a Evga Gtx 570 HD with 2560 ram.
I noticed that my NVHAL file doesnt look the same as yours, I did try to use the one in your guide but, I had 1280 resolution afterwards. I edited my original file and got a very slight increase. I also added my device ID to Applegraphicspowermanagement too.
I DID install the Nvidia Update drivers but it may have slowed things down? Also, I have another installation of 10.7.2 that gets around 35fps, all same hard ware.
Please help!
Thanks!

2) GeForceGLDriver.bundle hex edit. 100%Open CL GPU Fermi 4xx 5xx
osx86.netYou can edit your own 10.7.3 using Hex utility found further down thread. Do to the size can't post it here so I gave more detail. Its fairly simple using
Hex Edit.
I am confused on this point. I downloaded "
GeForceGLDriver.bundle" from osx86, but I don't know what to do with it. I know I have to use kext wizard to install it, but do I need to modify it first or anything?

I got that part. I downloaded and installed it.
I downloaded that and copied it over the one I had. I hope there was not anything else I was supposed to do.
I am confused on this point. I downloaded "[left]GeForceGLDriver.bundle" from osx86, but I don't know what to do with it. I know I have to use kext wizard to install it, but do I need to modify it first or anything?
I am totally confused about this. Do I just install with kext wizard?
I assume I just install with kext wizard?
Thanks!

Please use 1080 (the 0 actually means it will accept any value from 0 - 9)
Also, make sure that you do not leave unnecessary spaces in between.
Use tab and enter key when editing the file.
By doing so, my friend manages to get the apple loo correctly at the boot screen. Please try...I have a 550Ti and it also works fine.
Can you confirm that miniHDMI & 2 DVI ports of your GTX 550 Ti card all working now ?
Which bootloader are you using ? How many kexts did you patch ?
Looking forward to your reply as soon as possible. Thanks.
