What about the Intell 5100 wifi driver. There is no mentioning about it .
Is it working on your laptop. If so could you upload the driver kext thanks.

I have a Intel 5100 AGN as well on my HP DV& notebook. Since there is a Linux driver out now, I hope it can be ported soon. I don't mind not have Internet for now, but I would like it soon.

I'm also sitting on the 5100 a/g/n card... It would be great if the Linux driver could provide some additional insight to the problems that are being experienced with the older Intel cards as well.

I am buying a USB adapter for the time being and we will see what comes of this.

How exactly do you mean 'recognised'?  Does it appear in system profile somewhere?

My HP dv6t 1100 has same problem....hope 5100 AGN comes soon..
I install the iDeneb 10.5.6...doesnt have sound, it always 1024x768 cannot change...
only can boot it with cpus=1...

my laptop:
Conexant Cx20561 (only speaker works, jack-out doesnt work...)
Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 5100 (not work)
Broadcom NetLink BCM5906M PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (not work)
