However, there should be a caution for folks using pre-made strings. If they use a PCI card their display PCI address may be different than the one used by the person who made the string. I also found that, for my system, the Display PCI address found by an auto-detection program was not correct. I had to scan the ioreg data and locate it manually.

You could maybe contact the maker of the program, and ask to make it into your program.
Or something like that

Is there a quick easy way to get the device property in leopard? I have been using kext files for my GeForce Go 7200 (which isn't listed in that program). Also for the sigmatel 9200?

I would love to be able to contribute to this.

Wow after looking at the listed devices or more appropriately (video cards) on this forum, I dunno if my device properties would be of any use... PCWiz, you should contact the person that made EFIStudio.

rather than spending your time re-inventing the wheel... people should collaborate to make things better.

That's one problem that's always plagued the OSX86 community. Don't reinvent, work together.

I tried the EFI string from EFI Studio for my 8600m GT 256MB in my lappy, and it gave very poor performance. I got a lot better performance out of NVinject.

hey man great work, i added the hex to my plist file but i dont get ci/qe unless i add bronya's atiradeon1000.kext and then everything works full except quicktime. for some reason quicktime is playing video with very low color like 256 color. am hoping to run just the string with my retail. thanks see attached snapshot

You cannot have Qe/Ci without the Bronya driver. The strings are only replacing Injectors, like NATIT. Injectors only give you resolution changes.
You aloso need all kext from bronya driver except NATIT.

In my case everything working fine, even Quake 4 for example.
