Today, Apple posted new versions of all it's iWork applications, Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. The updates are available through software update and aren't really specific on what they fix. For Pages and Numbers it says "This update addresses compatibility with Mac OS X." For Keynote it says "This update primarily addresses performance issues while playing or exporting presentations." Each update is about 30MB, give or take a few.

I hope this fixes Keynote random crashes. I lost a whole presentation.

For now, it seems a bit faster when opening presentations (keynote).

Learn to love your Cmd+S [or Ctrl+S under other OSes]. After a while, you'll subconsciously tap away Cmd+S whenever you're working on something, and you'll never lose more than 5 minutes work :(

Numberzz, remind me, how does the update affect you again? ;)

Perhaps preventative updates if 10.5.2 breaks their functionality.

Hi,

If you're an iWork 08 user, then you may want to run a software update, as Apple has just pushed out updates for all three applications.

Cindy.
