Hi folks,

I'm not really sure why, I was actually trying a fix to my 8039 Ethernet card, but it seems that my iwi3945 log got bigger.

It got stuck on the blue screen bf reboot again, but there are some networks and also "REPLY's" in the middle of the logs that may help.

Here we go again,

Regards,

Lordy

Iwi 3945 985

All reboots with timeouts.

1 Reboot got a KP (maybe cause worked?) i got this:

Ieee80211_wake_queue @ /users/Pere/iwi3945/compatibility.cpp: 1897

Related to this:

}

void ieee80211_wake_queue(struct ieee80211_hw *hw, int queue) {

IM_HERE_NOW();

fTransmitQueue->service(IOBasicOutputQueue::kServiceAsync);

return;

}

REL 987

Got this reboot log after restarting several times, has an command error, but it continues the scan...

Lots of activity, no auth just yet. I let it run for quite a bit, only after about 5 mins did I see the jiffies thing. Here is the iwi3945kext for others who want to test. Im in a public library now so I think the mac addy is listed in the logs

BTW, for the time being regarding iwi2200, you might want to correct the http://code.google.com/p/iwidarwin/ page to specify that iwi2200 is currently broken / non-functional - until we can find some sort of way to fix it or revert the code back to revision 803.. Any suggestions on how to do this are welcome.

(The 10.4 version may still work, but 10.5 is definitely broken..)

Instead of waiting to see if something happens in this log, when I get these errors, nothing usually happens. rel993 got lots of errors in the beginning for me, errors that seemed to be solved in rel991. Anyhow, a short log from me with the kext

systemlog993.txt

I've installed the iwi2200.kext with all the instructions. Everything works until I get to "getting ip address", and nothing more.

I've searched a lot and I found some solutions like going to System Preferences, but I'm not really understanding how do we exactly do.

Thanks guys.

almost there

this hack is very nice

the authenticate is called if you get a probe resp and a scan_complete

iwi3945 rel 995

iwi4965 rel 996

don't post short logs!

to test unplug other network connections first

nordix,

your log2 might be the way to make this work

i'm still learning

My only network connection is my wireless connection. My logs are quite short, I ran into the same errors upon 3 reboots as the 993rel, I let it run for bout 10-15 mins each, and didnt see any difference, or any lines worth posting that were different than rel 993

k brb gonna try a few more times and get a log

k here is the 995 logs with some errors
