sandmanfvrga
http://www.pocket-lint.co.uk/news/news.pht...ch-leaked.phtml Sounds about right. I like the Mac Mini refresh. The $599 is a killer little machine now. No confirmation on this, just rumor but this is interesting. Found it on Engadget.
Special-K
It was leaked through Wikipedia. It can't be real. Anyone can edit Wikipedia.
Colonel
Do you people read the front page anymore? I already posted this like two weeks ago...
Special-K
Yea but that's got WAY too much for one keynote. Therefore, it's wrong.
sandmanfvrga
Yes Colonel and no offense it was down and not available the same day. I looked for it, though not good enough it seems. Also you have the "Mac Nano" in there, none in the one I posted. Sheesh, just posted a link, maybe if this site would keep on all the news and such, it would be better. This site was so much better way back when.... Sorry to post such a "worthless" link. The attitude here is bad, lacking news on the site, etc. I can't believe this. Plus get chewed on because you post a link to a "maybe fake/real" keynote. Thought it would be fun. Wow, way to suck the fun from speculating on the keynote tomorrow. AppleSmartFriend
i do not think this are the keynotes of tommorows. i do not think so because the mac pro is already out and the parts in keynote are wrong. even after this i am still look forward to the keynote. i hope it is mac mini that gets upgrade. it is such a good little machine, it just needs make faster and better video. Special-K
Hey uh AppleSmartFriend, didn't you say you worked for Apple in another thread? Wouldn't that mean that you had some idea of what would be in the Keynote? Yea, I knew you weren't legit.

scj312
The Mac Pro refresh has already been announced, with much better base specs than that.

There has been at least one story done every day since I joined, or more. How is that at all lacking? Good to know my stories are appreciated... Neilis
The Mac Pro refresh has already been announced, with much better base specs than that. I'm hoping that's a sign that the Mini will get a better refresh than what's listed too . I'd like to migrate to a real Mac but the Pro is out of my price range (for right now anyways - maybe around June I will be able to scrape up my pennies ), and the Mini just isn't beefy enough for me. Even 100GB is kind of anemic for my type of usage (I could fill that with just my iTunes stuff). I wish the mini had eSATA since there are 5 disk raid enclosures for eSATA that will let you setup a big 2TB (or even more) raid array. The units I was looking at come with a PCI-E card (Mac compatible too), but that's not much good for the Mini. I'm not sure they make a similar setup for Firewire. Other main thing is the graphics chip. My Hackintosh has a 7600GT and I honestly don't see me moving to any real Mac with less than that.
mifki
i'll say it here numberzzz where u cant edit me, but your stories suck and are always 5 or 6 hours behind other sites (basically copy and pasting off engadget and gizmodo etc etc), but at least you post news the way you should, unlike half of the news team who posts news when they feel like it (once a month at max)

There has been at least one story done every day since I joined, or more. How is that at all lacking? Good to know my stories are appreciated... Dude, I have been here longer than you, if you check the dates. I come to the main page everyday, each time. I came here when it was osx86project.org, thank you very much. No, you guys don't have the news like you did before the site was sold, don't lie and say you do when Engadget and other sites out do you on Mac News. Also don't lie about "at least one story done every day". I guess that is why the team a few months back was apologizing left and right at no new news stories and why there was no update for a while, right? No offense, plain lying makes you look bad. Plus Colonel, again if you listen, your news was off the main page really quick that day and the search here after all this time, sucks on this board. If you guys want us to look at the news, keep it available and maybe put a way (unless I missed it) to scroll old news on the main site. I can't find a way to do that I don't care to fight, but Insanelymac is a shell of it's former self and it saddens me. I have been here a while, not like some of the people, but longer than alot and the changes are not good. The attitude, especially from you Colonels, is surprising. You use to be a nice, no nonsense guy, but it got old how you were "retired", "I'm back", "retired", "I'm back", "retired", "I'm back" etc. I was surprised to see you in a administrative role since you couldn't make up your mind where the hell you where, no offense. Numberzz don't go on and make {censored} up, please. You and I know there have been times when no news was coming out, that is why the admins were begging for news team members a few months ago. Be truthful, goes a long way. I post a link, it was meant for fun and to wonder about Macworld 2008, though some took it as a time to take shots at me for no reason. Colonel, your post/news is no better than mine, it is all speculation till Jobs talks today ok. Is this what the admins/mods/news team does now on Insanelymac.com? Sad. Oh Engadget did tell the link I posted was false, so they are on new news really well huh? I thought it might be false, but it was still fun to post, well it was suppose to be.......
