I'm back! So I got sick of the dual G4, it just became to slow.

Anyway, I am back with my original set-up and I want to install leopard again...I think I have been gone long enough that there must be something new? I also bought a MacBook Pro again so I have mac but it would be nice to have Leopard on my PC.

Thanks in advance!

Well I got tired of Vista so I uninstalled it completely. I made Ubuntu my primary operating system but due to the lack of photography programs it wasn't very useful.

In Linux (hopefully any Linux) older versions of Adobe Photoshop should work just fine under Crossover Office:

It's a torrent. I can't link to it, but search on the pirate bay, mininova, demonoid (require membership), or best of all, Pizzatorrent.

You also need a torrent client to download the torrent. For windows, I recommend uTorrent, and for Mac/Linux, my favourite is Transmission.

I hear a lot of people complaining about Vista and I do not understand why. All my applications and everything work perfectly, the only time Vista starts to screw up on me is when I start tweaking it, installing another OS (screwing the boot loader) you know system wide changes liket that. I've had a good Vista experience.

P.S. Oh, I am excitied for OpenSuse 11!

But then you've wasted £300 odd...

I feel for all the the lost souls known as 'newbies' that buy a computer from the closest store possible, with a salesperson saying things like "latest 1.6gHz dual core technology", "massive 1GB of RAM". Then they go home with their new computer loaded with Vista Home Premium and load it up with downloaded applications not knowing what the word "uninstall" means, then start complaining when their computer starts getting slow because there is no space left for virtual memory and because their favorite program is Limewire...

All that time they have never heard the word 'Mac' even though they have a iPod, which plays all their music from iTunes that their friend installed because they didn't where to get it from.

Or should I feel sorry for them? Idiots....

I have all my friends and relatives programmed to call me before they purchase a computer. ;)

I went from XP Pro to Vista and have reverted back to XP. Vista looked cool - and that's it. It had some pretty cool looking features, but had so many problems.

XP isn't the best, but it's better than Vista.

I can't wait to get Leopard working on my PC, though.

that's because the resources that vista uses to support aero is stupid. it may look cool but all in all it's a junk OS that microsoft just wanted to push out and make fast easy cash without fully testing the software.

sadly i am using vista but i've custom built my computer and i've made it well enough that i can run vista at the resource rate that your computer would run xp. i am using 64bit vista with 8gb's ram on my other pc (video editing/picture editing/music editing,)

i can honestly say, i like xp better than vista.

although microsoft is coming out with windows 7, it will have the vista look, but will run at the speed and bit rate of xp.

Well we hope that its going to be as fast as XP, but Im sure it will be.

I dont know why everyone seems to hate Vista, whe I have a fresh install I usualy go and turn off a whole lot of stuff and that makes it generally faster. And plus, there are a heap of features that make vista so much better. Like multi-core support, proper multi-tasking, better memory managment.... stuff like that. If you tune Vista correctly it works really well.
