Baliw Posted April 30, 2007 Share Posted April 30, 2007 it's not a beta installation issue.... and to prove it, i reinstalled my entire OS and tried to install photoshop from CS3 again without success !!i can install everything else in the CS3 bundle expect PS3 Go to library ---->application support ---> adobe delete caps and backup Reinstall CS3, that should do it. e-rick Posted May 29, 2007 Share Posted May 29, 2007 Hi, solution is installing the 1046 SMBIOS. This will cause the about this mac button to crash and logout/login, but it will make CS3 run...fast.. (it is really fast) You can find the 1046 smbios on the JAS dvd. Just drag it into pacifist and look for the 1046 packages. Backup old smbios, place 1046 smbios repair permissoins, reboot and it should work... at least, that's what did the trick here.. I was running JaS 10.4.6, which could not support PS CS3. (The installer loaded, but complained) After updating to .8, the installer wouldn't even get past the authentication prompt. I'm poking around right now, but I'm not going to sit here all day messing with it. Watch the video to see where you have to place the files. You need no serial etc. And Adobe CS3 Products work fine.
