I hope they add GMA x3000 support. Not only because of graphics, but because GMA X3000 means that they will use the new intel 965 chipset and so all new motherboards with 965 will finally be fully supported like intel 945. :P

the x3000 is not going into any macs and this is a fact they might pull the gma3000 *over clocked gma950* but that is it

that makes no sense twice.

They will eventually use either of them. They have to because the currrent motherboards that they use (945) only support 1066 FSB and so they will not be ble to put new generation of core 2 processsors in mac books and mac minis because the new generation will use 1333 FSB. They will have to use new motherboards which suppot 1333 FSB. Of course they will use the 965G motherboards to save cost of a different motherboard and an independant graphics card. We will probably see drivers for them in leopard. because that is roughly when the processors will be released.

just speculation, but since apple hasn't released updated mac minis until now, it will probably only ship them with the updated graphics GMA 3000 with the forthcoming 10.5 Leopard OS, meaning that we won't be able to sue the drivers for 10.4.x - am I right?

thanks

Ok... Let's take it from the top. Which driver should we be suing then?

apple slarghter the gma950 if they unlocked all its features on osx it is ok it has bloody pixel shader 3.0 on windows but on osx we have crappy 2.0 on widnows it gives us 224mb ram on osx it gives us 64mb come on some1 is gunna hack this it is just a matter of time

I'm curious why you believe they'll go for the GMA3000 over the GMAX3000...
