OoOoOoO
I hust managed to change boot logo ( at grey screen) to another then apple. i'll not share my scripts for a some time. so lets start competition for new osx86 boot's logos. logo must be 128x128 with fixed pallete, i attach 2 example, create new ONLY by editing them. the only problem is that compressed ( after all converting operations) logo must be 1376 bytes size, to try to keep it clearly Only Horizontal lines of one color give in to compression, look at the attached examples. post your logos here(only png allowed (128x128x8), just edit attached examples). i'll convert them to compressed internal format and will tell if it size is <=1376(it's mean good) after all i'll post needfull files for changing logo. peekay_us
Maybe you need a grey background to match the rest of the screen: Perfect0: Don't boot in verbose mode if you don't want to see text. The Baron
could you please go over the steps again.. it dosen't seem to work for me get a boot file (http://rapidshare.com/files/16909956/boot.html) and move the download somewhere you'll remember, easiest to move to /) You'll need startupfiletool (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=4281), put this in / also. boot with -s cd to where you unpack files (just cd /) Then type: ./startupfiletool /dev/rdiskXsX ./boot rdiskXsX ( it's like diskXsX) is a disk where darwin bootloader was installed. - on mine it's rdisk0s1 - youcan get it from Disk Utility - Information.
